Following Thursday's Republican debates, an overnight poll shows Donald Trump maintaining his edge over the crowded field of Republican candidates. ...

The NBC News online poll conducted by SurveyMonkey over Friday night and Saturday showed possible movement among the candidates following the debates, as well as Republican primary voters declaring Carly Fiorina the overall debate winner.

Donald Trump has the support of 23% of Republican primary voters following the debate ... Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina were the candidates with the most gains in support, 7 points and 6 points respectively ...

Among Republican and Republican-leaning voters who watched either of the debates or followed coverage of the debates in the news, Carly Fiorina emerged as the clear winner. Twenty-two percent said Fiorina won or had the best performance in the debate, followed by 18% who said Trump had the best performance. However, another 29% said Trump did the worst in the debate, clearly showing how polarizing he is. When the candidate' negative performance percentages are subtracted from their positive percentages, Fiorina notched a positive 20, whereas Trump scored a negative 11. Both Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz did well, with net scores of positive 12 and 11. Rand Paul also fared poorly, scoring a negative 11. ...

29% surveyed say that Trump lost the debate, while 18% say that Trump won the debate, for a negative 11% for Trump.

Trump equaled Rand Paul with a negative 11 overall. Trump = Rand Paul! LOL.

...“Democrats have opened our borders to all manner of horrific Third World violence, crime, and disease. The GOP has supported and endorsed this vile activity every single step of the way. Trump has tapped into the fury of the American people over the unrelenting anti-American NWO push of our paid employees in government. Trump could win this on this one issue alone. Americans are tired of being betrayed by their government on both sides of the aisle.”...

It wasn’t a “debate”. It was thirty-second Q&A sound bytes. A political fashion show, with the candidates on the runway for a few moments each, most of the attention going to the barkers running things.

Wait - was Trump even in the same debate as Fiorina?

I thought Fiorina was in the b-list debate crew that didn’t make the FOX cut

Cruz was pigeonholed for shutting down the government, and Ben Carson was asked what his foreign policy credentials were. But only Trump was attacked we are all told. . In Trump We Trust propaganda. BTW, Trump is down from the polls that had him at 24-28% in the GOP before the debate.

Fiorina has lost my support with her stupid statement in support of what everyone “thought” Trump actually meant. She sounds like a typical oversensitive broad looking to find some reason to be offended.

Wonder how many people really view “shutting down the government” as a bad thing....probably not many...

As I saw with a prior thread:

The SCOTUS doesn’t matter now - only if Trump gets elected will it matter. Only RINOs will get on the SCOTUS, that is unless TRUMP gets elected! Trump will save us all!

Cruz is out the window, as are Carson and Fiorina.

Only TRUMP can save America!!!

In Trump We Trust!!!!

Is she running for president?

She spoke longer than all the candidates combined, so perhaps, yes she is.

Enough with the women are too sensitive crap. That kind of talk loses elections.

And calling her a broad won’t help at the ballot either.

All talk like this needs to cease.

Keep it on policy and that alone.

29% said Trump lost, which means 71% didn't think Trump lost the debate. That's pretty remarkable considering that the two hours was about 75% a dump-on-Trump hatefest by the moderators.

Shouldn't our priority be getting Jeb, Christie, and Graham and fellow travelers out of the race? If Trump were out now, the next target would be Cruz.

She epitomizes corporate affirmative action

I imagine if she was male, her management at HP would be case study for future MBA’s

Question is this: At this stage in her life, what has Carly Fiorina actually done that made the nation or world a better place, in a way significant enough to show that she is qualified for the US presidency?

Instead of just talking about it

Let me make it easy for you, so step away from the pro-Trump Kool Aid:

She hasn’t declared, FYI.

So her percentages now don’t matter...

I have talked about O’Reilly and so on for quite a long time now, and I have been attacked for brining them up here and questioning them/Fox News on some issues.

But now the Trumpettes suddenly don’t like Fox News.

All that is for Trump is now good, and all that is against Trump is now bad.

That is the mentality of the Trumpettes who have as their motto “In Trump We Trust.”
