GOP Gov.: "Time To Move On" From Same-Sex Marriage
Possible Republican presidential candidate and Ohio Gov. John Kasich believes it's "time to move on" from the same-sex marriage issue in the wake of the Supreme Court's landmark ruling.
"I do believe in traditional marriage and the court has ruled and it's time to move on," Kasich said on CBS' "Face the Nation" Sunday, adding that there's "so many other things now that we have to focus on."
Same-sex marriage opponent: conservative beliefs need to be respected Russell Moore of the Southern Baptist Convention told CBS' "Face the Nation" that people of faith "are not going to simply surrender" their traditional marriage views because of the Supreme Court ruling.

Kasich is the hero of Christians whose faith is inspired by the editorial page of the New York Times.
I can’t “move on” when the LBGTA nazis who threatened to burn down the nearby private school for refusing admission to a lesbian’s daughter (because they want to teach traditional marriage views in school without having her go home crying that parents are sinning, or have requests to change teaching for that child’s tears) now have political sanction to sue yet again.
and a male man as well.
Nope, and it took the curse of a civil war to force the issue.
It isn’t easy to go deep. Deep may leave the issue to God for a spell as well, but for different reasons. It doesn’t just say let’s swallow this as a new norm for us to all bow down to. It says let’s start concentrating on getting our own weak spiritual house in order so we will have a sincerity blessed by God when we advise and urge everyone else.
John Kasich sounded really good until he came up with this argument. Now he lost me.
Translation: “Time to move on and lose the next battle.” It really is infuriating.
Kasich finished himself with that statement. The GOPe wants to believe otherwise, but kasich “jeb bushed” himself and he’s done.
Yeah, time to let other freedoms get kicked to the curb.
This was just a warm-up.
I never did like this guy much.
A couple years ago he was on some talk show, probably on Fox news, and he came to a relevant family issue, related how it had affected his family, and then started blubbering, right on TV...I utterly detest men who weep in public...absolutely hate them...
What respect can I have for a man giving in to feminine emotions? I don’t respect men who yield to anger with violence either...a good man can manage his own emotional output and keep it to himself...but crying...? Ugh!
My opinion on gay marriage? The Supreme Court was wrong to rule on this issue. USA is a secular nation and we should have nothing to do with marriage and that should be up to the churches.
Legally? Only the state should recognize civil unions (partner A and partner B). And it should be up to each state to decide what partner A and partner B can do.
Trump just said the same thing. Walker has too. That’s just the ones I know about.
