Eighteen months ago, TAC publisher Ron Unz discovered an astonishing account of the role the 2008 Republican presidential nominee, John McCain, had played in suppressing information about what happened to American soldiers missing in action in Vietnam. Below, we present in full Sydney Schanbergs explosive story.

Thankfully lots of people don’t believe the media headlines. Even those from Fox. Or should I say “including” those from Fox.
The following Vietnam era POWs were awarded the Medal of Honor:
John Cavaiani
Don Cook
Bud Day
William Port
Lance Sijan
Jim Stockdale
Leo Thorsness
Rocky Versace
I cannot stand John McCain, but I have largely ignored the rumors about his conduct while a POW because those POWS who I know have refused to confirm or deny these stories, telling me that it’s their business and they are not going to discuss it with anyone who wasn’t there with them. Since they are staying closed lips, from whom are the reports coming from?
They have also told me that they all cracked, all of them, every single one.
Here’s a story from a friend who served with the same unit that I served in Vietnam (different times) and with whom I served with later.

I blame him for abandoning our POW/MIAs so he could cover it all up. He and John Fraud Kerry.
McCain has crosses the aisle too many times to play nice-nice to the left for my taste.
Why?
“There are plenty more qualified people out there than him.”
There probably are, but none of them are running, with the possible exception of Cruz.
And how many of them (including Cruz) are not going to be beholden to big money contributors?
I did the same thing. I was prepared to sit that one out rather than vote for McLame. I voted for Sara Palin, and would vote for her again.
If it was at the link, do you think he would have asked that?? that was a completely stupid statement (yours)
I personally know some people in Washington who saw first hand the role McCain (and others) played in covering up what happened to those MIAs left behind. I believe them. Our soldiers were left behind. The man is evil.
There probably are, but none of them are running, with the possible exception of Cruz.
Cruz tops my list.
I’m not in favor of Trump as president, but in all fairness you should know that there is plenty of evidence that he didn’t even say what they are reporting, which should not be a surprise to anybody. There’s a whole article about this very thing up above this.
Because it WAS at the link. He apparently was referring to the lower link which I mistakenly linked to the site's About page. I explained that above. The top link properly linked to the article.
bfl
Both links go to “About Us.”
My own personal view on this is that all of the missing were dead when the POWs were repatriated with the possible exception of some who were held by factions in Cambodia and Laos, not PAVN units. Those undoubtedly died or were killed in the immediate years after our withdrawal. They are all dead.
The real villains, I believe, are those who turned the search for POWs into a cottage industry selling false hopes and robbing grieving families of their both sanity and wealth.
Sorry, I stand corrected. Both links went to the site’s About page. I asked the mods to correct. I thought I had checked and found one to be ok, although, thinking about it now, that wouldn’t even be possible. Both spots would automatically link to the single url I provided when composing the thread. Again, sorry.
That was in an article that came out yesterday, some poll or other which I do not believe.
Do you really think JEB has that much momentum?
Yes, I just saw that now. Just posted an apology.
