Oregon Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian finalized a preliminary ruling today ordering Aaron and Melissa Klein, the bakers who refused to make a cake for a same-sex wedding, to pay $135,000 in emotional damages to the couple they denied service.
“This case is not about a wedding cake or a marriage,” Avakian wrote. “It is about a business’s refusal to serve someone because of their sexual orientation. Under Oregon law, that is illegal.”
In the ruling, Avakian placed an effective gag order on the Kleins, ordering them to “cease and desist” from speaking publicly about not wanting to bake cakes for same-sex weddings based on their Christian beliefs.

The only emotional damage is to the Christians. The gay couple was probably shopped to get a denial.
I would think a gag order like that is unconstitutional under free speech 1 st amendment. They should sue state of Oregon for 10 times the so- called fine.
Find a conservative legal organization, defy the gag order and make it a test case. Liberals and LBGTQ-EIEIO do this crap all the time. Use their own tricks against them.

No, a state government official, but Oregon state will enforce this unless overturned by a judge, so the bakers will have to appeal the decision to what is becoming an obviously corrupt and biased court system.

Actually, I’m sure Oregon would have a hard time enforcing anything against these folks even if they just moved to another state.
