Last weeks 5-4 Supreme Court decision declaring same-sex marriage to be a constitutionally protected right in all 50 states is setting up battle lines across the country, with many church leaders and some state officials indicating they will stand firm in protecting the religious liberty of those who find the high courts decision morally offensive.
Theres even a high-profile law enforcement figure who has taken to social media with a warning about the cultural rot associated with the courts declaration that gay marriage is legal across the country, despite what individual states and their residents might say. Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, well known and highly regarded in conservative circles, made a bold and provocative prediction on his Twitter feed over the weekend, saying that todays anger over the Supreme Court decision will turn to rage, then revolt.
Given Sheriff Clarkes very public positions on support for the Second Amendment, for Americas police forces, and opposition to numerous policies of President Obama and his liberal supporters, its little wonder that his tweet drew a lot of passionate responses from his more than 64,000 followers. Quite a few respondents encouraged Sheriff Clarke to become a prominent leader of the opposition, so to speak, beyond his frequent criticism of the sharp left turn the country is making.

If you are silent now, then they will think the storm has blown over.
And, what are we supposed to say? I don’t think the congress has the power to remove a Justice of the SC.
Article 3, Section 2 of the Constitution:
Congress can regulate anything the Supreme Court does.
Congress can overturn a Supreme Court ruling.
Why?
Because only Congress can make law.
The Supreme Court did not have any legal basis for their ruling on Friday.
The members of Congress have taken an oath to defend and protect the Constitution.
We don’t need a Constitutional Amendment, Congress can pass legislation invalidating the Supreme Court decision and remanding the issue back to the states.
It is that simple.
Impeachment’s a theoretical option.
Not a chance of hell of it actually happening in the modern era, though.
I wonder how long before he has an unfortunate car accident or drowns when falling off a pier or falls out an upper story window.

I feel defiant.
Kennedy, Sotomayor, Kagan, Ginsberg, and Breyer definitely deserve impeachment ...
Roberts should be leaned on very heavily to resign first. He has been compromised; somebody knows something about him and is blackmailing him.
There is a black man that would probably punch you in the face for calling him an African-American. Love the guy!
Judges don’t even have to meet the ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ standard. Judges can be removed for failing to act with ‘good behavior’, and good behavior is defined nowhere except by Congress.
