The Congress absolutely has the power to impeach, convict, and remove from office a Supreme Court Justice.

Kennedy, Sotomayor, Kagan, Ginsberg, and Breyer definitely deserve impeachment ...

Roberts should be leaned on very heavily to resign first. He has been compromised; somebody knows something about him and is blackmailing him.

Judges don’t even have to meet the ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ standard. Judges can be removed for failing to act with ‘good behavior’, and good behavior is defined nowhere except by Congress.

The problem is, the majority of Congress agrees with the rulings.

They’re more than happy the SCOTUS took care of these issues. Now, the legislators get their preferred outcome without having to take any of the responsibility.

Win-win.

Congress can also determine the size, composition, funding of the court and all inferior federal courts. The SC gave itself the power of judicial review in 1803 and I assume Congress could take it away and restore it to its proper Consitutional role which was intended to be quite limited. While are are at it, the 14th amendment should be repealed with due process and equal protection changed to fit present conditions...not those of a draconian Reconstruction period.

But how can we replace them with something better without holding the WH and 60-67 votes in the Senate?

(I’m wit you in spirit, but just being practical, here.)

“somebody knows something about him and is blackmailing him. “

Probably something to do with the adoption of his children?

All of what you say is true, but it ain't gonna happen. I am reminded of the scene from the movie "Signs" where the former preacher Mel Gibson is talking to his brother, who wants comfort and a heartfelt message. Mel is trying to explain to him about coincidences and God's will and deflates his brothers hopes by saying "We're on our own."

Part of me wants to embrace that, to give in, to think that God has lost. That is Satan trying to drive a wedge in there. God has a plan and He will not fail. The world has seen tough times before and we have pulled through - because of God. And he will pull us through this. Just have faith, pray, and follow his word.

Impeach them and replace them with who? More of zero’s choice, liberal appointees? Guess we’ll have to ride out this storm - for now anyway.

Don't you think that it would set a very dangerous precedent to impeach judges because you didn't like their decisions???
