It may have not made sense for them (the Black people) per se but it made perfect sense for the Whites to want to do it to eliminate the problem.
What actually happened, reconstruction ended, Blacks remaining second class citizens and poor, was lousy and we still live with the consequences. I reject that that was the best option, I would have advocated something else, be it forced emigration (whether they or anyone in Africa liked it or not) or a second war to teach the former Confederates that the new Constitutional amendments weren’t optional (I know Notherners weren’t kind to Blacks either but it’s wasn’t there fault slaves were here) or Indian-style reservations in the Dakotas or something.

Well, that’s the problem with America, not just at this situation, but others. IMHO, al aqeda wanted America to fit their vision of tyranny, and America has, by responding with some of the most rediculous security measures I have seen in my life. This nut said he wanted to start a war, and now somebody else is already playing to that tune!
I used to be on antidepressants, thankfully, I no longer am. The problem with the drugs is that they do not give you coping mechanisms, they just help make your mood and your feeling of needing to be active go down, and the drowsiness doesn’t make life all that more enjoyable either. I can understand how people with unresponsive epilepsy or unresponsive disorders may need them, but I would hope that they are prescribed as a last resort.
Yes, there must be. Otherwise how could politicians convince people so often that a war will be over quickly with victory assured?

The wife and granddaughter of the Reverend were on TV tonight and you can see the the hurt in her eyes, but there was no hatred, no animosity. Overall the reaction of her and the rest of the family is a night and day difference compared to the poverty pimping race hustlers of the #blm crowd.
