CABOT, Pa. Rick Santorum, the brusque and deeply conservative former senator who won nearly a dozen contests in the 2012 race for the Republican nomination, announced here Wednesday that he would seek to recapture that fleeting magic by entering a crowded primary likely to be far more difficult than the last.

One silver lining in the plethora of R candidates announcing their campaigns... The left will have a much harder time picking a target to demonize when they are not sure who will emerge at the end.
“Santorum Runs!”
Nnnnnnnnnnoooope!
Oh joy, another one.
The list of those NOT running for President soon may become shorter than the list of those who are. I think they’re being paid big, big money to jump in the race and dilute the pool of contenders. Confuses most voters who will then go for the one with the most name recognition. You know, big RINO Bush.
stopped watching Fox a few months back
Hey arasina!
I think you’re right!
If you look at his history, he’s never been anything but a politician.
He’s a one issue candidate in an empty sweater vest.
I don’t understand why the heck Bush is still pulling in the top 3. I wish he would go away along with a bunch of others
I'm with you, though -- I think Santorum is pride-filled, sanctimonious, and devious. For example, in 2011-12, he constantly used the phrase "family values," and even made the absurd claim that "family values" were necessary for a strong economy. Really, Rick? Then why isn't Mexico, where family values are fabulously strong and righteous, enjoying a thriving economy?
The truth is that Rick was using "family values" as code for "I didn't get divorced like Newt did" and also because he was too timid to use the term "Christian values." I asked a lot of Santorum supporters what the difference was between family values and Christian values, and not a single one even attempted to answer that question. Santorum's "family values" phrase caused pain and hurt good worthy people who for whatever reason either didn't have big families or if they did, weren't the types to dote on them.
Santorum used devious language then, and will no doubt use it again. Cruz, on the other hand, speaks straightforwardly. Cruz is the ONLY guy in the race who is worth voting for.
It took me at least 3 times (I think 4) to correct a post once.
He is as fake as they come.
If it ends with him in President Cruz's cabinet, then it was all for the good.
“Santorum used devious language then, and will no doubt use it again. Cruz, on the other hand, speaks straightforwardly. Cruz is the ONLY guy in the race who is worth voting for. “
I think Cruz’ straight talk and ability to articulate his patriotic message will put the other candidates to shame. As long as he is allowed in the debates! I just know the MSM, and Faux too unfortunately, are trying to figure out how to minimize Cruz. He scares them because he is the first real, unapologetic conservative in a long time....and he’s smarter than them and they know it ;)
FIFA and Santorum on the same day? Hot damn!
“This guy just enters into the race and nukes everybody else guaranteed! And this freak has no chance of actually winning. Hes unelectable. Always has been. Always will be. Who the heck wants a mommas boy, sweater vest wearing poindexter like this wannabe?”
LOL. Tell us what you really think. By the way, I totally agree with you.
Yes, Cruz. The less from Santorum the better. This guy his incredible unlikable, still plays the fraud of being a Pennsylvania resident while living in a multimillion dollar mansion near Newt Gingrich in northern Virginia. His 15 minutes are well past done.
Rick Santorum announces second presidential bid
I'm sorry. What were you saying?
ONLY his second?
Dayum, seems like it’s his profession!
2 to 2?
