The U.S. Department of Agriculture is pushing back against a campaign criticizing First Lady Michelle Obamas school lunch rules by showing one picture of a somewhat appetizing childs lunch.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and in the digital age we have ample opportunity to document and broadcast every moment, meeting and meal, wrote Deborah Kane, the national director of the USDA Farm to School Program, in a blog post Thursday.
We have all seen those unappetizing photos of food served at school that quickly go viral, she said. A lonesome whole wheat bun atop a sad fish fillet; a mysterious-looking meat mixture served next to an apple. Its natural to ask, Is this what they serve for lunch!?
No, its really not, Kane said.

You're right....something is moving on your plate...
Don't they know Styrofoam is a new evil that is destroying the planet???
Several baby carrots, a bread stick, and a blob of spaghetti and watery sauce.
The tray in the upper left has a blob of chocolate pudding.
Beautiful meal? Not really.
Oh great, it will only cost $50 million in tax dollars. There needs to be a ban on propaganda spending. Standard white papers should be the extent of government information campaigns, anything further can be disseminated by others.
“Michelle Os healthy lunches going to the pigs literally”
“RIO RANCHO, N.M. Theres one group of young eaters who like Michelle Obamas school lunch program: pigs.
New Mexicos Galloping Grace Youth Ranch is accepting fruits and vegetables thrown away by students at several elementary schools in the Rio Rancho area and collects some five tons per week.
Its really whatever they dont eat coming off of their trays, so when they get up to the trash cans they will scrape it into one of our buckets that we pick up on a daily basis, ranch CEO Max Wade tells KRQE .
Speaking of the pigs, goats and chickens gobbling up the students castaways, Wade says, If you think about it, its a fresh salad bar every day. Fruits and vegetables and they love it.
To underscore the point, hes talking about the farm animals, not the school children.
Rio Ranch lunch The goats prefer romaine lettuce, some pigs like grapes while others will eat anything. The chickens like the dinner rolls.

Yes it is, you liar.
See all you kids getting served those tiny portions of horrible food? See? Your government is calling all of you liars.
Yes.
Not only are they outmanned, they are about to find they are outwitted.
Kids love social media. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram... they're able to instantly access a wide arsenal of social media. They're not going to be fooled by a phony advertisement of a great looking school lunch posed by a food stylist.
The children will be asked to report their parents to authorities if they hear anything negative about the government meals.
Here come the Potemkin Village photos of alleged Moochelle Approved School Lunches.
Prison food - it’s whats for lunch.
The one at the actual blog post has a pic that I know I wouldn’t eat. Let alone a kid.
The EPA should investigate Michelle’s food programs. Just the sight of some of those foods are enough to make you sick.
Whole-wheat as part of a fish sandwich? Damned! That’s as sacrilegious as putting ketchup on a kosher hotdog. It just isn’t done in a civilized society.
I’m sure that Michelle the Fat Belle and her children don’t eat this crap.
That last slide showed something that looked like a scene out of “Alien” and “Aliens”. Something deadly that hatched from those eggs and Kane’s chest.
Hey food server. I’ll have two of those Alien tacos and cup of blood to wash it down.
Sorry, kids, no seconds!
THEY ARE ALREADY HERE
Isn’t that Michelle’s Momma?
Worse, well...read for yourselves:
In my ideal world, the Internet would be abuzz with photos like the one above, also a school lunch featuring a fish fillet, taken at Samuel J. Green Charter School in New Orleans. One of the first public schools to open in New Orleans post-Katrina, the mission of Samuel J. Green Charter School is to prepare 100 percent of its students for college, careers and a successful life.Apparently the bureaucratic staffers at USDA don't know the difference between a Charter school and a 'public' school...
ROFLMAO
