Peyton Robinson said he got the bad news from a school administrator Wednesday morning.
The 18-year-old senior at York Comprehensive High School was told he wasnt allowed to fly his American flag and POW-MIA flag in the bed of his pickup truck.

So Robinson hit his Facebook page Wednesday and let everybody know what was happening and fellow students quickly took up the cause, driving back to school that night with flags flying from their vehicles.
Ill keep fighting, Robinson told WSOC Wednesday night. Im not letting it go; I wont go down without a fight.
Students also vowed to fly flags Thursday morning at school in solidarity with Robinson and more than 70 vehicles equipped with waving flags pulled into the school parking lot.
A crowd stood on the roadside and cheered them on, and what appeared to be a group of veterans saluted at the schools entrance as they rode in.

Article says the Superintendent decided that the flags were a driving safety hazard and had them removed.
I don’t know the law where this occurred, but here in California that’s called “tampering with a motor vehicle,” and since this a$$hole isn’t a LEO, he would be breaking the law.
There was an article posted here yesterday stating that a school official took out the screws used to anchor the flags to the truck bed, removed the flags, and laid them inside the truck bed. That student should press charges against the school official for vandalizing his truck.
This is in NORTH CAROLINA, people. Basketball took precedence over politics. While you were sleeping, they were creeping. Time is running out. Fight soon, or condemn your children to fourth rate status in a third world country.
This is in a country where Secret Service agents get drunk and crash a car into a barricade in front of the White House are still employed. This is in a country where DEA agents party with cartel-funded hookers and booze and are still employed. This is in a country where an IRS hack ADMITS to using her position and agency to target organizations with positions she disagrees with and does not go to jail.
I could go on and on.
I’m glad I went to look at the picture. I’d like to say he had good intentions. He should have put a little more thought in it. I’d take the keys away for awhile.
You are correct, of course, and the school could win this one by having a credible military representative confirm its decision.
Even worse for the students, it could be the school official is such a military vet (although without further info, most of us with good reason would quickly speculate it was an anti-American liberal).
However their is a group of lads, with 4 X 4's with lift kits and I am not sure he graduated last year but one lad flew Old Glory and the Gadsden flag and wore an air Calvary Hat... They didn't give him any crap...
“This is in NORTH CAROLINA, people.”
Wrong...South Carolina.

Are you kidding me?
I’ve been meaning to try one. Do you have a favorite for Internet Explorer and Firefox? Thanks.
You are incorrect. (see the last paragraph of the cite - the kid had one thing wrong, the US flag should have been on the right, or passenger, side)
Flying a flag outdoors will soil it, and tear it. Flying it from Fort McHenry did, in spades.
“Automobile and Motorcycle Flag Display Guidelines for Non-Military Vehicles
No other flag should be flown higher than the Flag of the United States of America. No other flag
should be noticeably larger than the Flag of the United States of America. The U.S. Flag is mounted on
its own right as the vehicle is moving forward, EXCEPT when it is mounted as follows
A single U.S. Flag mounted on the roof of an automobile or a truck, or on the rear fender or
bumper of a motorcycle, CAN be mounted in the center of the vehicle OR it can be mounted
on the right side (passenger side) of the vehicle.
The U.S. Flag can be displayed in the center of a row of an odd number of flags (i.e. three flags,
five flags, seven flags, etc.) mounted across the roof of an automobile or truck or in a fendermount
or bumper-mount on the rear of a motorcycle. In this case, the U.S. Flag should be
higher than all other flags. Higher means that the uppermost red stripe of the flag should be
above the top of all other flags. This can generally be accomplished by using a U.S. Flag one
size larger than all of the other flags or by extending the length of the pole holding a U.S. Flag
that is the same size as all of the other flags.
The U.S. Flag displayed in the center of a row of multiple U.S. Flags mounted in a line across the
roof of an automobile or truck, or in a fender-mount or bumper-mount on the rear of a
motorcycle, CAN be higher than all of the other U.S. Flags (in the case of an odd number of
multiple U.S. Flags, i.e. three flags, five flags, seven flags, etc.)
OR
all of the U.S. Flags can
be the same height and size.
If a row of multiple U.S. Flags has an even number of flags (i.e. two flags, four flags, six flags,
etc.), ALL of the flags in the row should be the same height and size.
If U.S. Flags are flown from poles extending out of the post holes in the rear of, and on both
sides of, the bed of a pickup truck, both U.S. Flags should be the same size and height.”

Uhm, no...There are the Intelligent, and Democrats. There will be conflict.
No problem for the La Raza crowd to fly the Mexican flag.
It is a start - Wolverines
Just to try one out, AdBlock Plus is the most popular and is pretty easy and effective.
