Trump just followed Pamela Geller, one of the organizers of the Garland Texas free speech contest where entries depicted Muhammad.
Speaking about Geller, he said "She shouldn't have taunted these people."

Pamela has this cartoon on her site. I wonder if it is the one that won. If it is, I wish all the papers covering this story and all the blogs would print it. I like it — It makes the point and you can print it in a family newspaper.
In this country you shouldn’t have to fear for your life no matter what you say with the exception if you are directly threatening to kill or physically harm people. Drawing freakin’ cartoons of all things is not threatening to kill or harm people. Where does it end? Will they start killing people who say they don’t believe in Islam as well? And BTW: Notice both these animals are DEAD with just the security guard shot in the leg. That’s how we retain our constitutional right of freedom of speech by the 2nd amendment for those who would dare try to take it away.
Agree, Trump just lost any support I may have given him! Where was he when the ‘Arteets’ were mocking Jesus, Mary and other Christian symbols.
I must respectfully disagree. Many folks - myself included - admired Trump because he has made sense when talking about economic issues. And he has spoken about the importance of America appearing strong to the world. Sure, he's a shameless self-promoter, but what national figure isn't?
As eastforker noted, with this story Trump has shown his true colors. He is just another appeaser. I no longer care what he has to say.
We should just give them space and let them murder. Maybe Trump is trying to top the politically correct mayor of Baltimore.
That’s why The Donald will never be The Prezzy.
Regardless of what this obnoxious attention hound says, Geller should hold a press conference and announce she will organize two more cartoon events. And if a Muslim dares anything, four will be held. And so on and so on.
What a Cheese Trump is. Pamela Geller was fearless and put her life on the line to speak out for the first amendment. She did a remarkable job of exposing Sharia and the savages who practice it and want to impose it on the world.
What a courageous Lady!
Trump bended over to Islamic terrorist intimidation.
Well gee... How about this, maybe a murderous rampage isn't a valid response to being taunted and getting your feelers hurt? How about that? Let's not take our eye off the ball here.
Hey libtards and muzzies out there reading this. Grow up and toughen up sweet-cheeks. You are going to be offended. You are going to be angered. Probably every single day, a little or a lot. (don't worry, life generally has a pretty good balance, there's going to be good times too) But guess what - trying to impose your views, your ideals, your way of life on everyone else - either through violence or seeking legal protection from such offenses and sources of anger... That's not ok.
Normal, well-adjusted people are not so insecure in their beliefs that they have to lash out (violently or legally) at people they disagree with. If you actually had any real confidence in your beliefs, faith, and world view you wouldn't be threatened by someone with a different world view. In short, I think you are pathetic.

I thought he should not have gone after the birth certificate if he couldn’t take the heat. He backed down when Obama presented the fake long form, but I gave him a pass on that because of some of his other stands.
The mute button will be pushed when he comes on. I usually reserve mute on Fox for Obama and Geraldo.
It’s just ‘normacy bias’. Trump and Islam. Santorum and Bruce Jenner. Most candidates and gay marriage or immigration. Inability to admit danger because they can’t imagine someone truly disturbing their cushy lives.
There’s a reason why study of classical and Biblical history was essential to proper education.
Drawing pictures of their cult leader is taunting? Some would call it bait hunting. Bet they stick with easy targets like Paris and NY.
Pray America is waking
Well, I had not thought of it as taunting before. Thank heavens I have that brilliant thinker and statesman Donald Trump to show me the error of my ways.
+1
"Im one that believes in free speech even more than she does [yeah, right], but whats the purpose of this? Shes taunting them. Probably its very risky for her and maybe she likes risk. But what the hell is she doing and what is the purpose of it?" Elizabeth Kiss-Up Appeaser Hasselbeck:Donald

"They cant do something else? They have to be in the middle of Texas doing something on Mohamed and insulting everybody? Its disgusting what happened and we have to be very strong but it looks to me like shes somebody that is just taunting them. What is she doing and why is she doing it?
Thats a great question there, Mr. Trump.
And this guy wants to be president? I DON'T THINK SO! We already have an appeaser in the office. We certainly don't need another.
BTW, I thought it was quite telling that Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, an actual Muslim, understood the situation far better than Trump.
“War is the instrument our enemies have chosen, and I say, let us give them all they want.” —William Tecumseh Sherman
Yeah right. No one would taunt Christians would they?
There were a whole lot of words being spoken last week in Baltimore that was very offensive to me and a couple Hundred Million Citizens.
Does that give us the right to mow them down?
Of course not.
Maybe that will be a point the pin heads on the left will understand.
