Breitbart ^ | April 21, 2015 | Pam Key

Posted on 04/21/2015 1:57:01 PM PDT by C19fan

This week at the The University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics, long-time immigration activist Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL) said the potential Republican president he could work best with to pass comprehensive immigration reform is Jeb Bush. Gutiérrez said, “We would have to stay with the Bush family,” explaining George W. Bush tried twice to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

Is America ready for a President with no jawline?

Jeb has a shapeless flesh blob where most humans have a head.

And that’s the reason I’d not vote at all or give Hitlery a vote in protest, as it would make zero difference. Who knows, maybe she will take a right turn towards the center if that jack ass gets the nomination.

Neah.
Pretty much ALL of the presidential candidates, Democrat and ‘Pubbie, support Amnesty, with the exception of Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz , he da man ! There needs to be a ground swell of public support for this guy , in this country , like nothing this land has ever seen before . Along with a complete and very vocal repudiation of everything/anything Obama/Clinton that has infected this great land in the last 7 years .

Cong (gag) Guttierez is aligned w/ the most extreme anti-American latino factions extant today. He lacerated Republicans at last summer's Cong immigration hearing for daring to hold hearings ......and he disdained a reporter's question about illegals getting tax refunds...for children that don't even live here...and in some cases that don't even exist.

That's just for starters.

============================================

Let's take a quick trip down memory lane: At the (gag) La Raza conference in Cali (predated 2014 midterms)---Cong Luis (Dimwit-Ill) vengefully threatened Republicans---intimating shate-filled latinos would make sure they never win another presidency.

(waiting for hysterical laugher to die down)

La Raza President, and chief America hater, Janet Murguia, told attendees that it sickened her to hear Americans chanting USA. She accused Murietta, Cali protesters of having "cloaked their hatred in patriotism" by shouting "'USA! USA!' again and again."

"It made me angry," she said. "In fact, I was outraged."

Murguia demanded amnesty and said the road to the White House for Republicans goes through the Latino community and La Raza. She also said Republicans who want to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program will not get Hispanic votes.

(waiting for hysterical laughter to die down)

Going into 2014 midterms, taking cues from their Central American handlers, organized latino pressure groups were heaping scorn upon those opposed to amnesty---assorted latino pressure groups threatened Republicans with extinction, they rallied around Democrats---saying "the latino vote was going to destroy Republicans."

REALITY CHECK--AMNESTY-SUCKING DEMOCRATS DROWNED IN A SEA OF RED ---2014 MIDTERM results evidenced not a single state, local or political entity claiming victory w/ latino votes.

2014 was a tsunami that submerged AMNESTY-SUCKING DEMOCRATS in waves of defeat. Democrats who ran on amnesty were soundly defeated.

Fox's Britt Hume said the latino vote was not even a factor. Republicans won historic one-for-the-books elections---from sea to shining sea.

Thank you for referencing that article C19fan. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

"GUTIÉRREZ: ‘PRESIDENT’ JEB BUSH OUR BEST GOP CHANCE TO PASS IMMIGRATION"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Politically correct interpretations of the Constitution’s Uniform Rule of Naturalization Clause (1.8.4) aside, the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate immigration. So this issue is arguably a consequence of the 17th Amendment, state lawmakers foolishly giving up their voices in Congress by ratifying that amendment.

More specifically, if I was a constitutionally clueless member of the House like Rep. Gutiérrez evidently is, looking for new ways to win votes from low-information voters, then I would likewise take advantage of the corrupt, popularly elected Senate to help the corrupt House to pass an unconstitutional federal immigration bill. After all, a likewise constitutionally clueless president like Jeb Bush would probably sign the bill to also win some brownie points from low-information voters.

Bearing politically correct interpretations of the Constitution mentioned above in mind, note that Thomas Jefferson had warned us about the Senate and Oval Office.

"In every event, I would rather construe so narrowly as to oblige the nation to amend, and thus declare what powers they would agree to yield, than too broadly, and indeed, so broadly as to enable the executive and the Senate to do things which the Constitution forbids." --Thomas Jefferson: The Anas, 1793.

The 17th Amendment needs to disappear.

Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...
