Fox News Sundays Chris Wallace submitted newly-minted 2016 GOP frontrunner Scott Walker to thirteen minutes of sustained questioning about his record and his (mis)statements Sunday morning, the most notable moment of which came when Walker conceded after several minutes of interrogation that hed changed his views on immigration.

Bigtoona you are right on the mark. I am a Cruz man but if not him, then go Walker. He does a great job of handling all the GOTCHA questions. Rats always get a pass and Repubs get hounded by the media.
He was just a Milwaukee County Executive at the time he made the statement.
I know that Walker has said this numerous times in the past.
But none of what he said translated into action.
He did not propose or sign bills giving illegals in-state tuition, driver's licenses, or ID cards to vote.
He did not meet with La Raza or hold seminars with GOP elitists on amnesty meetings.
He did not make statements saying illegals deserve our love and support and they're just misguided people.
So, you're just going to have to trust Walker assuming he wins the nomination.
Because ALL of the GOP candidates - even Palin and the Prince of FR, Ted Cruz - at one point in time or currently - have stated they supported a "pathway to citizenship" or "comprehensive immigration reform."
LOL thanks
well drag the troglodytes along with us when the time comes.
Sounds a lot like what the Romneybots and McCainiacs said, how did that work out?
I am not a “hater”. I am a citizen sick of our government being more concerned about foreigners who are breaking into our country and ignoring ALL of our laws than they are about the security and safety of the citizens.
I will not hold my nose for another cheap labor importer.
“I will not hold my nose for another cheap labor importer.”
Good for you. Enjoy your time in HillaryLand or JebsterVille. :)
I will listen and see if I think I can trust him.
This is not just any issue.
It is THE issue.
We lose on amnesty and we lose our country.
His presidency will be shorter than William Henry Harrison then.
LOL! I thought Walker was the prince of FR. You cannot criticize Walker's change in this position for the election, without being called names such as "haters", "circular firing squad" e.t.c.
The same standards do not apply when Walker supporter critique Cruz.
But thats OK. We will continue to highlight these things. And if he wins and changes his position again, we will point that out too.
Its not about the person, it is about the positions and trustworthiness. We have been hoodwinked too many times, and this is the time to ask them why we should trust them.
“Looks like his spine just turned into jello hes off the can win list.”
Bullcrap. Nobody has faced down more threats and harassment for union thugs and other societal subhuman trash than Walker.
That tactic doesn’t work, either. Even against a known communist like the last 2 elections. I was a nose holder in the last one and I still regret voting for Romney.
It’s going to be Jeb vs Hill anyway, will you be castigating me for refusing to vote for either?
If it does turn out that way, we better hope somebody steps up to run independent and enough people have the courage to let go of their noses. It’s the only way we can break the stranglehold that the criminal enterprises RNC/DNC have on our political system. Fedzilla will not be tamed by people who want to increase it’s size and reach.
What are they going to do?... impeach him?? Yea, like they have impeached Barry.
*from union thugs
Walker does not have a wife that is a VP for Goldman Sachs nor does he propose dramatically increasing the number of H1B Visas.
As Walker mentioned, he was one of the first states to join the lawsuit along with Texas to stop Obama’s Amnesty.
Walker is my pick because he deftly handles the media with cool, calm reserve and has demonstrated as Governor that staying the course with conservative principals you can win. Also he is not Ivy League but one of us which I think will sell to everyday people.
That was a 30 day administration, no one is going to break that record.
All of the people in the GOP who are pushing amnesty always say that it isn’t amnesty.
If the illegal aliens don’t return home and apply like everybody else who really IS an immigrant, then it is amnesty.
We either have the rule of law or we don’t.
We must elect a President who WILL uphold the rule of law after this one who won’t.
Rand Paul's immigration speech...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.[Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg]
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reformLatinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...[Posted on 04/21/2013 1:52:42 PM PDT by SoConPubbie]
[but he's not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
Sorry to burst your bubble, but Walker is GOPe.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but could you be more specific?
When was the flop and when did he flip from the flop?
Have you seen this from Nov. 20, 2013: Exclusive Gov. Scott Walker: I Don't Support Amnesty
