Harvard tells professors: No more sex with undergrads

(CNN) If that car parked in Harvard Yard is a rockin', school officials may soon come a knockin', because hanky-panky between students and faculty at the elite university has officially been banned.

Specifically, the school adopted a new policy this week that prohibits romantic relationships between undergraduates and professors. The previous policy only did so between professors and the students they taught.

This is rampant in almost every college. While I was in college I noticed several really good looking girls were making great grades in advanced microbiology classes while I was struggling. Later it came to my attention that they were trading favours for good grades. In graduate school many of the women used their favours for better grades. I once told a resident that if he'd spend more time with we male students and less time trying to hump the females we'd learn more. Yes, discretion presented me with a "D" for the course. I resented females using their breasts for advancement in classes in which they did often. Harvard is no different than the many of the rest.

When I taught Anatomy and Physiology at a local college I made it a point to treat the females with the same as the males no matter how much the females tried to use alternate methods for better grades. Next time one has a female professional that has looks, consider if she did so with her intelligence or other methods.
