In a major positive development, Egypt's President Al Sisi has made an impassioned plea for a "religious revolution" in Islam. Speaking at Al Azhar University in Cairo, Sisi spoke directly to the religious establishment of Egypt:
Is it possible that 1.6 billion people [Muslims] should want to kill the rest of the world's inhabitants that is 7 billion so that they themselves may live? Impossible!I am saying these words here at Al Azhar, before this assembly of scholars and ulema Allah Almighty be witness to your truth on Judgment Day concerning that which I'm talking about now.
All this that I am telling you, you cannot feel it if you remain trapped within this mindset. You need to step outside of yourselves to be able to observe it and reflect on it it from a more enlightened perspective.
I say and repeat again that we are in need of a religious revolution. You, imams, are responsible before Allah. The entire world, I say it again, the entire world is waiting for your next move... because this umma is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost and it is being lost by our own hands.

I like Sisi, good man.
How long before they try to pull a “Sadat” on Al Sisi?

Admiring his courage, but not fancying his longevity.
if nothing else, their names are a hoot. al-sisi, al-shabaz...
bwahahahahahahahaha!
I think the crap about women being there for no other reason than to produce fighters is a good place to start reforming.
I would start by informing the world that it is not a radical thing, it is an islamic thing.
Al Sisi---one of the world's most astute strategists--- threw the M/B out of Egyptian politics and vowed to rebuild the churches they torched. (al Sisi attended the War College in Penn, USA).
Egypt hasnt forgotten the support Obama and Hillary showered on then-pres Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood factotums. Egypt has now charged Obama and Hillary Clinton for conspiring and collaborating with the M/B and advancing their terrorist activities.
The Clinton Foundation employee--Gehad al Haddad, who was also a Muslim Brotherhood activist, running terrorist operations while working for Bill/Hill-----is now sitting in an Egyptian jail (reported by H/T Western Journalism). al Haddad knows a lot about Benghazi, as well.
======================================================
Since he duped America into electing him in 2008-12, Obama's been prostrate, apologizing for America-----on his knees, all puckered up, sucking up to America-hating countries.
Obama and the Chicago crime kingpins he installed in the WH have done everything possible to undermine US ntl security --- and they did it with our tax dollars.
The facts are these: Obama entertained the Muslim Brotherhood in the WH---and he gave the Muslim Brotherhood $2 billion tax dollars to finance its anti-American activities. It's entirely conceivable that the Mideast killings of Americans is being financed w/our tax dollars---thanks to the ding-a-ling in the WH.
US TAX DOLLARS FINANCE TERRORISM ---Obama's not merely "not fighting terrorists"---he's financing them and inviting them into our communities, forcing taxpayers to subsidize their evil deeds. Obama used the federal piggy bank to finance jihad.:
<><> $2 billion funding to the Muslim Brotherhood,
<><> $50 million to his Muslim brother's tax-exempt foundation.
<><> while Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood were in charge in Egypt, Obama and Hillary showered them w/ praise.....and billions of US dollars in aid, arms, tanks and planes.

Wasn't Bill Clinton the one who said it depends on the definition of what is is?
Rand Slams Congress for Funding Egypt's Generals: 'How Does Your Conscience Feel Now?'Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt's military -- even as Cairo's security forces massacre anti-government activists. [by "anti-government activists" is meant church-burning Christian-murdering jihadists][Posted on 08/15/2013 5:44:10 PM PDT by Hoodat]
A rare advocate of good sense in the Muslim world. Glad to see this.
And Obama, and Farrakhan, and ......
not funny anymore.
Who said I was trying to be funny? Did you see a humor tag?
Sorry, not buying it. Words are cheap, lies are cheaper.
