Jeb Bush has quietly consulted former Republican presidential nominee John McCain about how to run for president without pandering to conservatives in a GOP primary, according to a new report.
The New York Times, in a story published Friday, examines the former Florida governor’s thinking on a possible campaign. The story notes that Bush seems to be leaning towards running, but has no desire to change some of his political positions to win over the party’s base.

And who is it that wins the election?

I consider this good news. It will be clear to all primary voters who they are really voting for - no more pulling the lever and hoping based on cheap promises.
Well, if Juan gave Jebbie honest advice, he told him to lie through his teeth about securing the border first. Lie about securing the border first as often as necessary, knowing he has no intention of actually securing the border; first second, third, or ever for that matter. Further, even suggest that he will “build the damned fence.”
Juan used those tactics in 2008 to revive his dead presidential primary campaign, and again in 2010 to fight off a conservative challenge during his senatorial reelection campaign.
If honest, those are a couple of key things Juan would have told Jebbie. Don’t pander to the conservative base, just lie to them as often as needed.

Why should we vote for another RINO? Boehner is a RINO, and he collaborated with Obama and nullified the election by funded amnesty. Vote for another RINO, and nothing will be different.
McCain lost an election by a big margin, he should be the last person a potential candidate consults if they want to win.

I made no reference to Ryan.......who only masqueraded as a conservative, BTW. But no; my only direct reference to a backstabbed running mate was to Sarah Palin. You extrapolated to Mitt and HIS running mate. I did not carry it out that far. And besides; it was a brief, feeble attempt at sarcastic humor, not an exhaustive history of the 2012 campaign.
