Washington (CNN) -- The New York officer involved in the death of Eric Garner should no longer be on the police force, Sen. Rand Paul argued Monday.
The Kentucky Republican said Daniel Pantaleo lacked "discretion" when he placed Garner in a chokehold for allegedly selling untaxed cigarettes.

Randy shouldn't be a Senator, but here we are.

I stand with Rand on this one. This was totally different than the Ferguson affair which IMO was a righteous shooting.

Rand Paul was neither on the jury, nor the judge. He should keep his opinions to himself.
Same is true for any of those racist, violence-loving, clowns buzzing around the Ferguson pile.

Then you stand with an idiot.
The officers involved were doing what they were told and trained to do.
A New York Grand Jury agrees.

Pandering Paul is acting as judge, jury and hangman.
Per ‘official’ reports and experts, it was not a chokehold.

The minute he sold out to the RINO McCoward ended his presidential campaign. I have a feeling this clown will run as an independent in 2016 to siphon off votes from the GOP. Yup, this guy can’t be trusted.

Trayvon got exactly what he was asking for.Ditto the “Gentle Giant”.But the video that I saw of the incident in NYC strongly suggests serious negligence and/or poor policing policies.I'm not sure that I saw criminality on that video but I,as a juror in a civil trial, would vote to award the family some serious $$$.

That’s right. Pantaleo used a wrestling move to bring down Garner. His left arm didn’t get around Garner’s neck until after Garner almost put him through a large window. The coroner didn’t find any damage to the trachea or hyoid bone, thus no choking. Garner died from being in poor health, resisting arrest, and being a career criminal.

Just another political statement from Paul to enhance his resume for the black vote when he runs for president. By that time, he will have enough statements of that type that, on the campaign trail, he can refer back to in order to pander to every possible constituency. His method: pander over principle, first and foremost.

Is the autopsy report out on this man yet?
To: Zhang Fei
And what should be done about the female black supervisor who was present at the take down?
It would be interesting to examine the history of the officer who did the takedown.
If there were multiple incidents indicating a tendency towards over reaction, taking him out of the force might indeed be a good move.
However, I’m getting sick and tired of blacks who find it odd that the cops single them out...when a good many of them appear to enjoy acting like thugs.
In other words, we crackers are not taking it any more.
Bring it on, and prepare for war.

I don't dislike Rand Paul, and don't discount him. It's just that he's all over the place. It'll be interesting to see where he lands.

If the state didn't levy onerous taxes on tobacco, Eric Garner would not have been on the street selling loosies, of which he had plenty of customers. If Eric Garner was not on the street selling loosies, the NYPD would have been enforcing more meaningful laws.
Representatives who pass confiscatory taxes and piss it away (especially in NY) shouldn't be Representatives.
