Los Angeles police opened an investigation into a woman's claims that Bill Cosby molested her when she was 15 years old at the Playboy mansion, a department spokeswoman said.
In response to the accusation, Hugh Hefner released the following statement about the comedian.
“Bill Cosby has been a good friend for many years and the mere thought of these allegations is truly saddening. I would never tolerate this kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved.”
The investigation was opened Friday after Judy Huth, who is suing Cosby for sexual battery, met with detectives for 90 minutes, Officer Jane Kim said.
Huth's civil suit claims Cosby forced her to perform a sex act on him in a bedroom of the Playboy Mansion around 1974 when she was underage.

It is like a legal strip club, because they know they are under scrutiny by people who are looking for a chance to shut them down they tend to stay as far as they can from anything that would provide them with grounds.
And why would they engage in act that would get them in trouble when there is so much money to be made staying inside the lines?
The cops say they will assist in a case that is outside the statute of limitations. They’re just ASKINQ for people to tell them crimes that are outside the statute of limitations.
That’s because to even file this civil lawsuit Huth had to claim that she just recently discovered that she had been harmed. She was raped as a 15-year-old 40 years aqo, tried to sell the story to a tabloid 9 years aqo, and just found out within the last 3 years that she was ever harmed?
The simple act of filing this suit was perjury. And she didn’t offer up any psychologist’s evaluation to make her case either.
But none of that matters, because this is a “court of public opinion”. Evidence doesn’t matter.

If Cosby’s liberal bona fides was more pristine, the MSM would be burying these stories or smearing his accusers. It worked for WJC.
there is, indeed, a statute of limitations and it has long since passed. The attorney supposedly representing all these so called victims is Gloria Alred and she has suggested that Cosby put up $100,000,000 dollars to "settle" the matter. Hell, I'm a male but I think Cosby may have touched me somewhere naughty in 1976......or was it 1977?? Oh well, either way I'll accept a mere $50,000 to just go away!
