National Day of Reckoning! [Impeach Obama]
November 20, 2014 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/20/2014 11:53:25 AM PST by Jim Robinson

Received a message this morning requesting a repeat of the National Day of Protest against amnesty that was held a couple of months ago. I'm all for it, but think this time it should be entitled, "National Day of Reckoning!" and should be repeated weekly for the duration.

FR was instrumental in leading the fight for impeachment against the criminal Clinton. Well, Clintoon was a piker compared to our new tyrant. As much as the Republicans fear impeaching our first black president, I'm afraid it must be done. The Constitution demands it!!

We cannot cower in fear as our wannabe dictator burns down our Republic. Amnesty by executive decree lights the fuse to final and total destruction of our Constitution and our beloved Republic if allowed to stand.

ObamaCare by hook and crook was bad enough. Conspiracy, lying, cover-up and treason in Fast & Furious and Benghazi was way over the top. Politicizing the IRS, EPA, DHS, etc, are impeachable offenses. Even the Democrats agree (Nixon). Wholesale spying on the people is an impeachable offense. But now after we the people through our elected representatives have soundly rejected every attempt at amnesty by both parties for over a decade if Obama decrees amnesty by executive order, he is definitely declaring war on we the people and has criminal intent on destroying the Constitution and our Republic.

The only valid constitutional remedy for an obviously out of control criminal president is impeachment!!

Empty threats of defunding or lawsuits are worthless. Articles of impeachment detailing the president's many crimes and misdemeanors must be drawn up and brought to a vote. If so, the House has no choice but to impeach.

Then we the people must work like hell during the next two months to convince enough Democrat and RINOs in the Senate to convict and remove. It can and shall be done. Articles of impeachment now, trial and removal by the Senate in January.

Like the man said, this one is for all the marbles. Damn the political torpedoes, full speed ahead!!

Call, email, write, visit your congressmen and senators!! The usurper must be impeached and removed for his blatant high crimes and treason against the Constitution, the Republic and We the People!!

FRiends, Patriots and Countrymen: Prepare for action against the lawless usurper who has declared war on you, your Liberty and the Blessings of Liberty of our posterity!!

If you love liberty, you will heed the call!!

I was speaking specifically about the impeachment issue in reply to 'Ann Archy'.

Would you like it if we all armed ourselves and took to the streets all in the name of expediency?

I agree that there are some serious messes out there and our elected officials are to blame. But, (I can't believe I'm saying this) armed insurrection is not the way. Not yet.

The thought of jillions of balls arriving in congressmen’s mailbax is pretty cool. That kind of image stirs something that regular messages don’t.

Remember when people sent a bunch of some item to congress when they were going to give themselves a raise, and it made them back down. They were pissed about it too. I remember seeing one at the speaker platform throwing a fit.

They ended up passing it later when things calmed down. Still it was satisfying for a bit.

Spines, too. Pics of spines.

A shame these fools have to be given visual examples of what we sent them to DC to do.

Sorry....but I disagree. I am opposed to doing things that will lead to nothing. What result do you hope to get from impeachment? Removal? It will never...EVER....happen. No way...no how...will you get all 54/55 republicans and 12/13 democrats to vote for removal in the senate...so all the bluster about "HE MUST BE STOPPED!!!"...you will accomplish....how? How will impeachment stop him? It will embolden him....that will be the result....

'Cause you sure as heck won't remove him with a senate conviction. Anyone who thinks that we will has obviously spent too much time in Colorado.

Seriously...this is a serious conversation. I want to know just what will be gained from an impeachment but failed conviction.

In an ideal world...YES....he should be in jail. But we don't live in an ideal world. We live in a real world. Right now....I am more concerned about the spineless GOP not using their constitutional powers. THAT is within our ability to change. I am also a fan of the saying "When Your Enemy Is in the Process of Destroying Himself, Stay Out of His Way"....and right now...BHO is doing a better job if taking down democrats than any GOP congress could ever hope for....so let him destroy them as a party...and let the dems fall on his sword.

>>>You’re more spot-on than most posts I’ve read. Impeachment won’t do a damn thing.

No it won't. I think too many here don't know their constitution....and they think impeachment means removal. There is absolutely NO way you will get a conviction in the senate. I think you could catch Obama ON TAPE in a child sex traffic sting....RED HANDED...and you wouldn't get 13 democrats to remove him. So this is a pipe dream and actually plays into his hands.

I think the whole reason for this was he wants impeachment (he knows he won't be removed) and too many of my fellow conservatives are playing into his hands.

If you can't cut the head off of the snake....you leave it be. Right now, this snake known as BHO is in a pit...and he ain't getting out. Don't throw him a ladder.

>>>>Then don't say...."Impeachment will simply lead to race riots in every city which is what he is looking for."

Why not say that? Its the truth. That is what WILL happen. What will certainly NOT happen is a conviction in the senate. Now don't get me wrong....deep down...the military man in me (27.5 years) says "bring it." I think its past time to teach thugs a lesson. But the logical side of me says this isn't how to handle this...because this is exactly what BHO wants...this is why he did this EO...which if you really look at it is just what some on the left are saying: A meatless burger....all gravy no meat.

Think logically with me for a moment: He didn't make any friends with this. The left is pissed that this didn't go far enough....the hispanics are pissed because they know many won't come out of the shadows (it takes too much effort and NOW they have to start paying taxes and SS)...the right is pissed for the obvious reasons. SO...given he made NO new friends with this...and a whole lot of enemies....the question is....WHY.

And the answer to WHY must drive our response. This is a war...and before we respond...we must know the WHY. We know it isn't the goodness of his heart...and we know this will not create new democratic voters...not from this action. So...WHY? It's because he wants what many on the right are seemingly willing to give him. He only knows how to play the victim....and he thinks this is the way to his recovery...to become the victim.

That's a hyper-defensive tactic you're using there. You attempt to defend your weak-kneed call to stand still and do nothing, by suggesting that I'm advocating violent insurrection.

I never said any such thing.

What I am saying, is that this is a time for action, not 'giving it time', to see what happens. We've been doing that for six long years while the Dictator In Chief has crapped on our Constitution time and time again.

The fact that no one has put a stop to his illegal behavior has only emboldened him to commit ever more heinous transgressions against us. That has got to end, and it has to end now.

If our representatives in Congress won't do their constitutional duty to remove this criminal from office, then it's up to the states or the people to stop this madman.

OPEN LETTER TO SEND TO YOUR CONGRESSMEN

Dear Hon. US Representative ...,

Sir, what the President has done yesterday, and not for the first time, has issued an Executive Order to violate the law!

In accordance with the Constitution, federal law can only be enacted, changed or repealed by an Act of Congress passed by Congress and signed into law by the President, or passed by Congress alone via an over-ride requiring 2/3 majority in both Houses.

Executive orders of the President cannot be used nullify, amend or create federal law as that violates the Constitutional separation of powers. They can only used to specify actions within the President’s authority to act. Furthermore, a decision NOT to enforce a federal law (e.g. DOMA) is a violation of the Constitution.

The only recourse Congress has is to impeach. Furthermore it is not an option - it is a requirement, otherwise Congress becomes complicit by endorsing the President’s lawlessness through inaction.

If Congress does not step up and do it’s job, then We the People of the United States will lose our freedoms, our rights and the protections afforded by the rule of law.

Sir, I’m imploring you and others in Congress put pressure to begin impeachment proceedings in the House Judiciary Committee to put a stop to the lawless, imperial Obama Adminstration.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Then don't say...."Impeachment will simply lead to race riots in every city which is what he is looking for." Why not say that? Its the truth.

The point is one should use the above statement as an argument against impeachment.

Instead of balls, send them a pair of walnuts.

I was mulling this over on my way to work this morning. If they are too weak and timid to stand up for the Republic, there needs to be a revolt in GOP to topple McConnell and Bhomer. Younger, bolder leadership is needed.

With enough ticked off citizens pressuring them, maybe, just maybe we can push these numbskulls to do the right thing or push them out of the way of those who have the courage to do the right thing.

Send that idea to Rick Santelli. It might be as good as teabags for the basis of a rant.

What good would an unrecognized, and maligned, “tribunal” to “review” the abuses do without a determined, and immediately prepared, enforcement (punishment) mechanism to implement upon the determination of that review...

I guess articles of impeachment (House), followed by the trial in the Senate, would be the correct procedure, but how do you get that going with the future Congress and Senate majorities who do not know HOW to act as a majority??? Much less take up such a measure???

I personally would not get in the way of these proceedings, but “we the people” (that give a rats) have made our decision, we gave a political party the opportunity to get these issues and concerns effectively addressed...

And the new minority and the administration have already trumped the shift of power...They are not giving up the drivers seat just because they have been removed from the majority...The so called republican party may have the “gas” and the “brakes”, but the Dems still have the “wheel”, and the media has the “windshield wipers”...

How’s that for an analogy???

And guess who is still in the backseat cryin’ because we told them we are not stopping for a slurpee at Buckee’s on the way to grandma’s house for Thanksgiving...

We are living in a situation in this country populated by political and social cowardice, without virtue in many of our elected offices, regardless of political affiliation...Sure we have a handful that would do the right thing, but when you have forces normally aligned with them, those few, that we know have quality, can only do so much...

We the people, have done our jobs...Now it is time (way past) for those we send up there (temporarily), to get this straightened out...

Just my opinion...;-)

I have a better visual example...

A small container of tar, a basket of feathers, and a 4x4 rail...

If that does not communicate effectively enough the people’s expectations...

Then I just don’t know anymore...

I can think of one person in Texas whose office should have that delivered to...Give ya one guess...
