The point is one should NOT use the above statement as an argument against impeachment.
I agree with you...that is not an excuse...but it is a fact.
So, given the other fact that the senate will not vote to convict...is this a wise course of action? Personally...if we thought we might get a conviction...it would be worth the riots to get some minds right....but given a conviction won't happen...then IMO its a lose-lose.
