Over 300,000 Americans have already been infected with the potentially fatal 'kissing bug disease' called Chagas but U.S. healthcare workers lack of knowledge about the illness is letting many cases of the parasite unnoticed. Thanks, Obama!
Another goody from Mexico.
It is spread by cooties which only girls have.
How is Chagas Disease Spread?
1. Through the bite of a blood sucking insect, called the Reduviid, Triatomine bugs, or kissing bugs.
2. Through infected organ transplants or blood transfusions.
3. People may also be infected if they touch their eyes, mouth, or any open wounds such as cuts, after touching or coming into contacted with kissing bug feces.
4. The kissing bug may also place their feces right into a persons eyes, causing infection
5. Uncooked food that contains infective kissing bug feces can also be a method of transmission
6. Mothers can transmit the disease through pregnancy or birth. The disease has also been documented in cases of mothers who breastfeed.

“It is spread by cooties which only girls have.”

I’ve been looking around and haven’t found the panic yet. Where are they hiding it?
They’re calling it the “new AIDS”, even though we’ve known about it longer than AIDS, it can’t be transmitted person to person, isn’t nearly as fatal as AIDS, and actually can be treated.

Good to know.
"People with Chagas disease seen in the U.S. usually have acquired it while living in a country where the disease is endemic (Mexico, Central and South America)."
"The disease has been diagnosed in the US, mainly in immigrants from South and Central America."
Diversity is our greate4st strength!!! Gracias Amigos
Once again, we have to consult a British newspaper to find out what is happening in the United States.
