Louise Troh, her son and two nephews of Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan are released from mandatory monitoring, but will stay at the Catholic Conference Center in Dallas for several more days, until authorities can find them a place to rent, government and church officials said Monday morning.
Troh was Duncans girlfriend. She and the other three have been staying at the Dallas Diocese's Catholic Conference and Formation Center in Oak Cliff for the last 21 days.
The gated conference center sits only a few blocks off of I-35E and is enclosed by gates and a chainlink fence.
Bishop Kevin Farrell said he only thought about it briefly before agreeing to take in Troh and her family.
They have been isolated in a cabin at the back corner of the property away from the street. A Dallas County Sheriff's patrol car was parked about 50 yards inside the gate.
"I considered every property the church owns," Farrell said. "I was very impressed that the mayor personally came here.
Retreats and conferences were canceled at the conference center but will resume this week....

“will stay at the Catholic Conference Center in Dallas for several more days, until authorities can find them a place to rent, “
Huh? What authorities are going to find them a place now? Before they were saying a Dr. that was both a friend of the loopy judge and the mayor had donated a place for them to stay.
Why did the two Dallas nurses get Ebola when they at least had some protective gear, but the family and the EMTs, or the initial ER health caregiver did not get it (as far as we know) despite the fact that they were in contact with Duncan and presumably had little or no protection?
Apparently, Duncan had high fevers, diarrhea, and vomiting after the initial contact and should have been very infectious before he went into isolation.
It doesn’t add up.
Sometimes you just have to go with the empirical evidence.
Besides, the viral load goes up dramatically as the patient gets closer to death.
Probably completely trashed. No belongings, furniture, cabinets, appliances, sheetrock, carpet, etc.
Sounds fishy to me. Doesn’t seem possible
Are they going to do the same for the nurses?
No thanks I don’t want that cabin at the back corner of the property...
wheres the children ???
“Are they going to do the same for the nurses?”
Odd how they never bring that up. Nor do they mention the cost of the poor lady that had to close her bridal shop for almost a month. Dang I am so tired of these parasites.
So, he had a pregnant girlfriend in Africa and a fiancé in the USA?
It's safe to assume he came here knowing full well he was going to have Ebola.
And his "family" members are victims? Not in my book!
It doesn't add up, does it? One story coming out of the affected African countries says that the incubation period might last longer than 21 days - perhaps twice as long. Then again, if that's what's happening in this case, why was the incubation period so much shorter for the nurses?
It has been reported that the apartment was gutted and all of the contents sent to Port Arthur, TX where they were incinerated in a hazardous waste incinerator. The ashes were going to be sent somewhere in Louisiana for burial, but Louisiana turned them away. I’m not sure where they eventually ended up.
Having some experience with 3rd worlders, I would wager he promised good ol’ Louise something in return.
Guess what, Gilbert, we all got lied to. Big time lied to. They said it was a house in a gated community. Ok, technically it has a fence and a gate and it is a house but they were playing word games. The outright lie by Jenkins was it was located 45 minutes in north Dallas or north of Dallas. Liars! No, that church is in south Dallas and according to google is an 18 minute drive from her apartment. That's correct. I was going to say 15 without traffic because I lived in Dallas and attended Catholic church not far from there. I see the priests haven't improved over the years.
Black people in a cabin? THAT's RACIST

I read somewhere that the pregnant woman he took to the doctor in Liberia was his girlfriend. She died and four days later he started process of coming to the US...to visit his fiancé.

Wow, I had not heard about girlfriend?!?! Would make sense why he was taking her to hospital...
