Nope... According to inside sources the rebels/FSA (free Syrian Army) is 95% Al-Quada.
Furthermore, whatever happened to the saying, “you are with us or you are with the Terrorist”?
Our government admits the FSA is allied with the Al-Qaeda. So CLEARLY... they are with the terrorist.
This is an operation against Assad and Syria. Attacking ISIS is just their excuse to attack Assad in Syria. Even Obama’s UN Ambassador Samantha Power’s comments admits fight is against ISIS is designed to take out Assad.

I think in the UK and Europe they switch the months and days the opposite way we do in the US. (took some getting used to when I lived there.)

One post sez ISIL headquarters is there. A sensible target then...if actually targeted. Another post notes the ‘S’ in ISIL is ‘Syria’, so the target (not necessarily clear) may be strategically important to a long-term ISIL win there.
Have to assume that this administration’s actions in the ME are favorable to “Arab Spring” goals.

Khorasan’s goal is to attack the West in spectacular fashion – and that such plots appear to be “imminent.”
“We had very good indications that this group, which is a very dangerous group, was plotting and planning imminent attacks against Western target to include the U.S. homeland,” Kirby told ABC News’ “Good Morning America”. “We knew that there was active plotting going on for an attack on the U.S. homeland.”

In the midst of the well-publicized campaign against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the military’s first official announcement that a different, potentially more deadly terror group existed, that it’s members were planning an “imminent” attack on America and that those planning the attack had been killed in the U.S.-led bombing campaign all came as something of a surprise, considering that for the public, the group was virtually unheard of until a few days ago.

As I have repeatedly reported to the Congress, U.S. Armed Forces continue to conduct operations in a variety of locations against al-Qa’ida and associated forces. In furtherance of these U.S. counterterrorism efforts, on September 22, 2014, at my direction, U.S. military forces began a series of strikes in Syria against elements of al-Qa’ida known as the Khorasan Group. These strikes are necessary to defend the United States and our partners and allies against the threat posed by these elements.
I have directed these actions, which are in the national security and foreign policy interests of the United States, pursuant to my constitutional and statutory authority as Commander in Chief (including the authority to carry out Public Law 107-40) and as Chief Executive, as well as my constitutional and statutory authority to conduct the foreign relations of the United States. I am providing this report as part of my efforts to keep the Congress fully informed, consistent with the War Powers Resolution (Public Law 93-148). I appreciate the support of the Congress in this action.

Militant: 'Khorasan's' leader Muhsin al-Fadhli, 33,...Khorasan - which has been described as a collective of 'seasoned Al Qaeda veterans' - is understood to intercept Westerners travelling to fight for radical groups in Syria, including ISIS. As many of these would-be jihadists retain their passports and travelled to Syria without their home nation's knowledge, Khorasan trains them not for combat in the Middle East - but rather for future terror attacks back home in the West.
