Rep. David Jolly (R-Fla.) announced his support for gay marriage Monday, saying that he believes it is "fully appropriate" for a state to recognize both same-sex marriages and "traditional" ones, even though he, as a Christian, believes in the the latter.
When asked by The Washington Post whether he supports gay marriage, in light of a Florida judge's decision last week to overturn the state's ban, Jolly said that his personal views on marriage are that it should be limited to one man and one woman. But, he added, states should not be defining the "sanctity" of marriage.

I wrote my opinion of him on his FB page. If Christians won’t stand up to the homosexual lobby, no one will.
America will pay the price.
Nope.
His district includes all or part (check map on Jolly's web site) of Palm Harbor, Clearwater, Dunedin, Largo, Pinellas Park and St. Pete.
Leni
Very well stated.
With a name like “jolly” what do you expect?
Here I stand if I am the last American standing. I will never accept sodomite unions as legitimate. God made 1 man 1 woman 1 m arriage for life. You just as well ought to bless unions between a man and his goat!
It's also our civic duty to exercise our First Amendment rights to organize, petition, and speak out against homo-loving turncoats like this FloriDUH RINO. You're not powerless, madprof, it's the Left ('Rats and GOP-E alike) that wants you to think you are. YOU can do something about it. YOU can organize and mobilize your right-thinking compatriots. YOU can make a difference.
Even if it's a foregone conclusion that this Republic is going down, at least we can go down swinging. That way, when we get to Heaven and look those guys who died to preserve our right to vote in the eye, we won't have to look away. They'll have saved a spot at their table for us.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Third (or dependent on perspective.. second) party.
It’s past time.
Can you please post his facebook page? I did a quick search and there are 2 pages but both seem like they are abandoned pages with no recent news or updates. Not sure if he has anything to do with those pages either.
Until we create a third party, this will continue. No Republican wants to go against the perceived conventional wisdom that gay is now normal. The lobby is too strong and will destroy those who go against it.
Of course the reason for this is milqtoast republicans refusing to stand up for morality and values. This is comparable to being a Zell Miller democrat. The rat left destroyed that thinking and now the republican establishment is doing the same to us.
It’s our choice. One thing we cannot do is walk away. We have to fight at the ballot box and the only way to do that is to launch our own party.
Look at how well it worked out for Fox. People want the truth and we cannot be tied to a party to get our word out.
Campaign slogan: “Jolly and gay”
If someone “believes in” traditional marriage, but publicly and governmentally supports homosexual “marriage”, then let me tell you, they BELIEVE IN HOMOSEXUAL “MARRIAGE”.
Waaayy past time.
Well la dee frickin’ dah!
For he’s a Jolly gay fellow...
HGTV seems to be showing more and more of this in their home shows.
...ah yes...Jonathon and Richard are looking for the house of their dreams...with no more irony expressed than if Joe and Mary were doing so...
With a name like Jolly, why wouldn’t he be gay?
