You don’t see him on the credit card commercial with the Vikings either. Apparently that got pulled after his prior rant.

Better for everyone to suspend PMSNBC. Life will be much nicer. OK, I have to admit that I have never seen it, and it is not available on my dish.

He probably got pulled for being libelous, not for being politically incorrect.

This language is not uncommon among the masses. It is not good. But I think it is a bit hypocritical to rejoice in a man punished for saying the very same thing I’m inclined to scream at the top of my lungs regarding the current occupant of the Oval Office. Alec and I both need to chill.

Baldwin should be suspended from humanity. The guy is an industrial strength lout.

Baldwin is a bad dude anyway you slice it.., but I have to say in regards to anti gay slurs???
Personally I have had it up to here with gay fags, I am simply fed up with them
As far as I am concerned, bring on the anti gay slurs, we are not doing anybody any favors by pretending its acceptable behaviour
In fact we are harming young children by going along with the lie that its ok
It`s NOT OK, so bring on the gay slurs

Being a curmudgeon meself, I cannot hold it against the man, however much I despise his politics.
He deserves privacy, and if invaded, a healthy bit of rage is very understandable.
Hypocrisy is another issue, thank you very little.

Someone named John Ekdahl had a great tweet about Martin Bashir, but it applies here too:
"If we were actually the racist, homophobes the left accuses us of, wouldnt more of us watch their cable channel?" (MSNBC)

Did Rachel Maddow call him out?

There are a lot of mad Democrats right now. They are watching their party disintegrate right before their eyes. They are not used to people attacking their entire party. The kids went after LBJ in the 60s, but not after all the Democrats in Congress. This is new ground for them. I have coined a new acronym for this.....SAD.
Situational Awareness Discomfiture.....SAD.
It is as if the world is turning upside down for them. They are SAD.

Time for some honesty. I had a conversation with my wife earlier (yes, I am male and she is a female) this evening about Baldwin. Neither of us like him or his politics. I regularly say discouraging words about queers, and I use terms that would get me banned from FR. So I really didn't have a problem with the language Baldwin used. I find it encouraging that he doesn't like queers. I did have a problem with the circumstances and it was inappropriate. BUT ...my real problem is he is a hypocrite. However, that is not MSNBC's problem. MSNBC's problem is that he didn't fit their narrative. They realize that a majority of their audience are queers or Occupy types that support queers. He gets another chance with MSNBC because of his false history in queer rights.
Don't worry, he will mess up again. In the meantime MSNBC's ratings will suffer a little more.
