This language is not uncommon among the masses. It is not good. But I think it is a bit hypocritical to rejoice in a man punished for saying the very same thing I’m inclined to scream at the top of my lungs regarding the current occupant of the Oval Office. Alec and I both need to chill.
The difference is that Liberals live by enforcement of Political Correctness. In general, real conservatives do not.
Seeing someone like Paula Deen get hoisted on her own petard is a case in point. I didn’t know who she was, never watched her, don’t know what she is like as a person, and all in all, I wouldn’t have wished misfortune on her just because.
But she swims in the liberal circles and lends her celebrity to politicians like Barack Obama. To see her figuratively step on her on crank and see her fellow liberals attack her like chickens gang up on one chicken that has one black spot on its feathers!
The entertainment I got was from watching her fellow liberals turn on her so viciously, not from her personal discomfort, per se.
