If I buy groceries, it's only young black men and me who pay cash for food. Being a young or middle aged black man is a lonely place. Nobody wants you cause you ain't worth nothin.
Is there a lonelier and more terrifying position to be in than being a black male educated by the public school system, about to turn 18? At that age he's no longer an income source, but a draw-down on the family. Streets, gangs, or prison is the majority outcome.
If there actually are riots: Kroger is about 7 blocks down from Walmart. The set-up is Walmart at one end of the street and HEB at the other end of the street with Kroger in the middle. I think they will skip upscale Kroger and head to HEB after Walmart. Kroger will be the last to be robbed if riots continue. I actually believe there would be a police response to guard the Kroger as it is one of their premiere stores. If they don’t shoot to stop the rioters, yes, they will be overrun and the Kroger goes down, too, but later than Walmart and HEB.

Kinda makes you wonder where, if Fed money is paying for all the parks and welfare in the country, does all the money from high state taxes go to?
Better to avoid all the drama if/when they riot in/around the walmart.
Stay home, check defense preps and sip peppermint tea.
It appears to be from a gov website. http://www.usda.gov/ That would make it authentic IMO.

I can lock my front door right now and not come out for a year and have a good standard of living. Before I would lock my door, I would move my car from the front of my house. I have a small public footprint, looks like a house as small as mine would have nothing of value, plus I live behind a gate. Large homes with no gate are in the area so they likely have “good stuff”.
Call up my libinlaws and say “told ya”.
I think we will be shopping locally more than ever. The HEB Plus may still be a safe shopping area.
We need to figure out if this is real or just a threat.

I have 6 months of food, a solar system that can handle lighting, computer, charging USB devices, and the fridge, enough firewood and kerosene to operate a sauna through the winter, shortwave, 2 meter, and CB communications, and I can hit a pie-plate size target at 50 yards with my pistol, 300 yards with my iron-sight rifle, and over 600 yards with my scoped rifle.
