WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. officials say the CIA has been delivering light machine guns and other small arms to Syrian rebels for several weeks, following President Barack Obama’s decision to arm the rebels.
The agency has also arranged for the Syrian opposition to receive anti-tank weaponry like rocket-propelled grenades through a third party, presumably one of the Gulf countries that has been arming the rebels, according to a senior U.S. intelligence official and two former intelligence officials. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the classified program publicly.

Most people don’t know that Syrian rebels = Muslim Brotherhood/Al Queda. Something so basic to us here on FR that have been reading about this for months is not that plain to the average person who is not really into world news.
If they knew - they would be outraged.
We need to correct that.

We have treason in the White House, and as far as I’m concerned, every stinking MSM reporter and executive who has been COVERING UP this treason is just as guilty.
Need to be arrested and tried...I’ll guarantee they never will, though!

Of course it has; I recall seeing reports in the first month of the conflict discussing Russian intelligence set up on the border supplying to Assad, with their US counterparts funnelling to the "resistance". Don't recall the source, but the US source (off the record, of course) said they were not the source of the arms, just making sure the arms got to groups that were not radical terrorists. THis might be technically true; they were probably funnelling arms that we paid for, supplied by other regional partners so they weren't traced to us, and making sure they were given to groups that we chose. It is extremely naive to think we have not had a presence in the region from day one.
