As my tag line says, the America we knew is gone. Started in the 60s with the immigration bill and- our beloved Reagan got snookered when he struck his immigration deal. The suburbs and Hispanic vote are where we will win or lose national elections.
You left out the most important constituency, Pot Heads.
There are better preachers on YouTube than you find in your local church, you should try some of them.

The teachings of feminism have drifted into churches, with the result that churches now are soft on single-motherhood, frivolous divorce, and female sexual promiscuity. The cute church-going girl with a string of non-Christian boyfriends, one of whom eventually gets her pregnant, is now a running cliche among the younger members of the church, the the older chuch members usually have no idea what is going on. Google “Sunday Morning Nightclub.”
In churches today you will often hear the false and unbiblical idea of female moral superiority over men on a regular basis. And especially, no pastor who wants to keep his job will ever tell women in Christian churches to submit to their husbands as the Bible demands. The result is rising single-motherhood, and the illegitimacy that characterized the black churches for decades is now growing in white churches. Illegitmacy causes women to want to seek the government as their father, and it causes them to want what Obama promised them in 2012: Free birth-control, free child care, and free abortions.
Seems most of these problems could be solved by men living Biblical lives. Takes two to tango.
The Republican party needs to go their own way. “I didn’t leave the party - the party left me”...
No doubt they are ready to hear it in California.
The conservative/libertarian republican philosophy should contrast nicely with the manic hostility both areas receive from the other side that dominates their politics.
And, contrast nicely with the lip service given by the rinos, who have joined with the other side in trying to build an ever bigger, more powerful and intrusive GuvCo Beast.
An IRSS that profiles and then acts with malice aforethought against Richard Milhous obama's enemies and his friends' enemies should have their attention, along with their fear and loathing. And, honestly? That's just scratching the surface of the scandal feast they know their side is hiding.
Yep, there's likely to be a few who are ready to hear what Rand Paul has to say in that part of the world and I'm impressed that he's the one taking it to them.

We believe in small government
We believe in strengthening the rights of citizens more than strengthening the rights of foreign nationals
We believe in the right of workers to keep more of their money
We believe your money is better spent when you do it, not when the government does it
We believe in getting off the back of businesses, so they can employ more people
We also believe in encouraging businesses to employ people in the U. S. over employing people overseas
We believe that mom and pop should raise their kids, and instill their beliefs in them
We believe that criminals should have it tough, not their neighbors
We believe in an eduction system that teaches traditional skills, and doesn't indoctrinate children politically
We believe your health care decisions should be made with your physician involved and not the government

Maybe Rand Paul isn’t really trying to be so vague in his comments. It comes across that way though.
I don’t agree. The GOP has a shrinking base. What it needs is intelligent Leaders (not many of those) that can articulate the benefits of Conservatism. I’m a pissed off base and I still vote GOP about 95% of the time. Other times I’ve passed on a vote r voted Third, but I’m pretty reliable and have found others to be so.
We are not in a majority and need to realize it and articulate. Otherwise, we are just screaming into the wind.
No Rand, when we get more of America to embrace the republican values we will win. When we finally get a candidate who can properly articulate the conservative viewpoint then the 4-5 million real republicans who sat home with show up to vote. Thats how we will win.
If Paul wants the GOP to be a bigger tent party, the major way to accomplish that is with more freebies than the Dem party gives out.
And that means bigger government.
More taxes.
More spending.

Of course, the GOP could try to be a real alternative party, but that would mean developing and sticking to principles. Ironically, most of the principles that most people would want are right of center, conservative.

Men living Bliblical lives is constantly addressed from the pulpit. Not so with women. There is a “double-standard” double-standard. Whenever the idea of female sin is brought up, Churchians say, “But what about men! Why aren’t you talking about men! Why is there a double standard.” But when male sinfulness comes up, no one wver says, “But what about women! Why aren’t you talking about women too! It takes two to tango.”
Historically and socially, for the entirety of human civilization, men were the gatekeepers of commitment, and women the gatekeepers of sex. Marriage had social value because men gave commitment to women, in return for women giving sex. The result was a stable family unit in which the next generation could be raised. But when feminism came, women were taught that it was “liberating” to give sex to men without receiving corresponding commitment. It was feminism that got rid of the idea that women should require commitment, and it did so by making commitment—namely permanent matrimony—seem to women like it was misogyny and male-dominance.
Thirdly, though most church goers outside the millenial generation don’t realize this, it isn’t the nice church-going boys that the young girls are fornicating with. The pastor who demands that young men in his church live more Biblical lives, is not realizing that the guys who are causing half the problem aren’t present to hear his sermons. The church-going young women aren’t dating church-going young men. Those good boys aren’t exciting enough.
This isn’t always the pastor’s fault, since the older generation doesn’t often realize what is going on in thenyounger generations. But unfortunately, the church has to a large extent accepted the world’s feminist idea that it is wrong, sexist, etc. for the men of the community to oversee and regulate whom the young women are socializing with.
So, does this mean a certain percentage of the Republicans are going to have to go on welfare and become “gay” or what?
Seems more a parenting problem than a church problem. But if churches started kicking out divorced people and unwed mothers, what would happen?
