The case of a same-sex Connecticut couple accused of repeatedly raping and abusing two of their nine adopted boys is headed for trial.
Married couple George Harasz and Douglas Wirth of Glastonbury were supposed to be sentenced Friday in Hartford Superior Court under a plea deal, but instead withdrew from their agreement with prosecutors. The men had already pleaded no contest in January to one felony count each of risk of injury to a minor — a reduction from even more serious charges related to sexual assault.
But in a surprise turn, the couple’s attorneys pulled them out of the plea in a bid to fully clear their names, according to CBS affiliate WFSB-TV.
If Harasz, 49, and Wirth, 45, had continued with the deal, they would have been given suspended prison sentences and probation, WFSB-TV said.
But more allegations came to light Friday in the explosive case, and prosecutors said they also want to go to trial.

Harasz and Wirth adopted nine children — three sets of male siblings — beginning in 2000, and ran a home-based dog breeding business called The Puppy Guy.
The couple was arrested in November 2011 following a police and state investigation of sex-abuse allegations. The children were removed from the home.

One of the victims who spoke during the court hearing said sexual assault began when he was 6.
“They took turns raping me over and over,” he said. “Anyone who would do this to a child is a sick, demented person.”

Frank Lombard, was recently arrested by the FBI and charged with offering up his adopted 5-year-old African American son for sex to an undercover cop. Lombard admitted to molesting his own adopted son to the undercover officer in an online chat room under the user name “Perv Dad for Fun”. He invited the undercover officer to travel to North Carolina to rape his already-molested adopted son. Lombard faces 20 years in prison if convicted but is not eligible for the death penalty.
Lombard bragged to the detective that “the abuse of the child was easier when the child was too young to talk or know what was happening, but that he had drugged the child with Benadryl during the molestation,” according to the detective’s affidavit.
Lombard is gay and adopted the two children together with his partner. He lists himself as a fan of controversial gay Bishop Gene Robinson on his facebook page.”
His partner said he didn't know and nothing happened to him. I think he got to keep the other child.

Connecticut should be ashamed. I hope the Supreme Court understands what they are about to do. They have NO business allowing young kids to go to a home where the person may molest or rape a child. The world has gone insane. We protect molesters now. The biggest cover up about this behavior is of how this sexual urges is hard to control. It’s insane that the courts in CT. allowed these characters to have 9 children. It is a wonder they can the walk the streets if you know what I mean. They need to be in prison. Years ago, people were hung or beheaded for this acts of violence. Now, it’s all about love and special rights. It’s very dangerous to put kids in jeopardy. Gay people have one thing in common / it’s about sexual desires/role playing. Mom and dad relationship is about a long term relationship and possibly nurturing children (for those who want children) not out of a sexual desire alone. Big difference.

Let me guess, every local news story on this begins with an explanation on how very rare this kind of thing is and that it almost never happens.

Its unbelievable that problem kids especially this number of them would be put in a homosexual household but it is the nature of our depraved new world. This will never get the attention that it deserves just as the Frank Lombard case and others didn’t. Gay men especially report having been sexually abused as children at a rate many times greater than heterosexual men. This automatically places them at greater risk for being abusive themselves. Also non biological parents tend to be more open to abusing non biological children its been observed over and over again in study after study. It’s called the “Cinderella effect”. The homosexual lifestyle is also very much sexually aggressive with a high focus on exhibitionism(pride) and sexually acting out as well as being accepting to blurring the lines and even the courting young teenage boys.
This has never been a good idea and the climate of political correctness makes issues of abuse such as this go much longer undetected because social workers are fearful of being retaliated against as being homophobic. A case in the UK went ignored for months even after the social workers had observed red flags that had the couple been straight would’ve warranted immediate attention.
This shouldn’t be about gays and protecting their perception of normalcy. It should be about making sure children aren’t abused like this. These kids have already suffered abuse and then those who are supposed to be there to protect them put them in an environment that not only exposes them to a potential higher risk of abuse but also a higher risk of ridicule due to the very nature of the sexual orientation of their “parents”. This is what happens when what is best for the children is put last on the list behind the misguided political correctness and the goals of gay activists.

Even Putin understands. They know in other countries that Obama and his gay agenda are destroying ourselves for long term. They can’t believe it’s happening though part of it I’d say they think it’s what we deserve. Most of us reject this behavior, and reject these adoptions to where we agree for children who possibly maybe subjected to rape and cruelty. Because we know what goes on. The elites see none of this and go along. 40 year old man has no damn business being around a small child who is not his dad from where I come from. A mentor is usually at a club or around others and not alone. Can’t people wake up. How they excuse the gay agenda is insane.
