DETROIT (WWJ/AP) — A federal judge has blocked the Obama administration from requiring Domino’s Pizza founder Tom Monaghan to provide mandatory contraception coverage to his employees under the federal health care law.

It’s a temporary restraining order affecting only the case before the judge. That said, a judge will normally issue a TRO if certain standards are met. The judge believes there is evidence that the plaintiff will win at trial. The judge believes that the harm done to the plaintiff without the order is greater than the harm done to the respondent with the order. It is not binding on any other case and is not considered as evidence by either a judge or if applicable, a jury hearing the actual case. Still it’s a good development.

I recall comments about the OsamaObamacare bill that said that it,unlike most Federal legislation,didn't contain a “severability clause” which,IIRC,means that if any part of it is found to be unconstitutional by the courts then the *entire bill* became null and void.Does anyone else recall that?
