anyone else having problems viewing the main page?

All I see is the sidebar for breaking news on my left,

and I logged out and logged in again

I am going to taqke a shower, keep posting if anything new happens!

I tried that and the sidebar only came back when I had it on “Text”.

I’m sure it will get fixed soon enough.

Yep! Can’t see the whole page unless I set it for headers only, and even then, I can’t get to the second page.

Having the same problem. No sidebars, page won’t scroll to the bottom, etc.

I first noticed this problem on my cell phone, so o switched to my desktop computer, but having the same problem there with both FireFox and internet explorer browsers. Someone must’ve monkeyed with the codes.

I don’t know if this helps. This is my configuration and I’m not having any problems.

I went to "Account", "My Preferences", then set both Thread pagination and Browsing to 20 messages, as recommended by CNS, and indeed, the sidebar came back, as well as the full page is showing and you can go to the next page.

That didn't work for me.
Actually I don't miss the sidebar as it has a lot of outdated material on it. -tom

This happened a few weeks ago. And I suspect it is happening again.

Yes. John and Jim know of the problems. No. It is not your computer. And yes. It will be fixed soon.

But in the meantime, keep posting vanities asking what is wrong; why can't I see the rest of the replies; why are only 8 threads showing and so on.

There’s a new “click to donate” button at the top left of the main page too. Maybe if enough of us “click to donate” that will fix it.

Play around with the several settings there; it will bring it back when you click the right combo. Mine’s back to “normal” now, after going thru trying several settings. Don’t ask; it’s way beyond my pay-grade. I found it by accident.
