Fuming Mad-Obamacare garbage (vanity)
self

Posted on 11/01/2012 6:22:19 AM PDT by NoobRep

However, in August, 2011 the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced new guidelines to ensure women receive preventive health services at no additional cost to them. The guidelines require insurance plans to cover certain women’s preventive services at 100%. These new required Health Care Reform mandates added a significant increase to our health care plan.

With this in mind, we would like to announce the following for 2013. Please use the information below as a check-off list when completing your open enrollment:

HEALTH COVERAGE – BlueCross BlueShield remains the Health Plan provider for 2013. There are no changes to the benefits as provided in the Plan. Depending on your level of coverage, the health premiums will increase 10% to 12% in 2013. There will also be an increase to the deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums for both Plans.

Got the above note from my HR department this morning as we select our benefits for next year. What a joke. And it's only going to get worse. As Nancy Pelosi said, I guess we're now finding out what's in this garbage pile. I am vehemently opposed to paying for my co-workers birth control (and whatever else this constitutes). FU Obama.

The guy who owns our business is a devout Catholic and is dropping our prescription drug plan because of this ruling.

Haha. It says additional benefits are being provided at “no additional costs to you” and goes on to say rates, deductions, and out-of-pocket costs will increase. So much for, “no additional cost.”

Same thing happened at my company. We now have all the preventative care we could ever want, but a $4000/year deductible for anything NON-preventative (including prescriptions, doctor visits because of illness, emergency room, etc). After that, the insurance will pay 80% for in-network stuff. Needless to say, there are very few swing voters left in the office.

I don’t know about your plan, but the two major preventative screenings for women, mammograms and PAP smears, won’t be covered. Government has decided that women don’t need these screenings every year. This means that cancer won’t be detected early, and more women will die.

But birth control and abortion will be covered. If you ate opposed to either or both, too bad. You are going to pay for them.

It’s also all about power. Government now has power over life and death.

Many businesses will simply drop all coverage, forcing you into the government’s awaiting arms. They will pay the ‘fine’ because it’s cheaper than paying for insurance.........

No free lunch for sure, but this was forced on us. A majority of Americans did not want oBama care.

Tax reform group projects Obamacare compliance IRS form

ObamacareformWASHINGTON DC - Grover Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform has put together a mockup IRS form that suggests how American taxpayers will be required to show they are complying with Obamacare. According to congressional testimony, taxpayers will need to prove four points to the federal government once the Obamacare regulations are in force:

1. Determination of “qualifying” health insurance.

2. Disclosure of personal identifying health information.

3. Exemptions from Individual Mandate: Prisoners, Undocumented Immigrants, Welfare Recipients

4. IRS penalties and interest on unpaid mandate taxes.

Allow me to translate the democRAT/Piglosi/Obamagabe wharrgarbl. The 'benefit' or service of women's WellCare (annual pap and mammogram) are covered 100% with no additional cost to you. The fact that your "overall" insurance cost will increase by more than what it would cost if you were to exempt and cover those procedures 100% out of pocket yourself is irrelevant. Only to democrats - and politicians in general - does that make sense.

Needless to say, there are very few swing voters left in the office.

That's a VERY interesting observation. My company won't let us see the health care signup website with premium information until November 8th. Now that I consider the date, it smells of collusion to make sure that employees aren't enraged at the impacts of Obamacare until AFTER election day.

As a big DoD contractor, we should be getting written WARN Act notices by tomorrow if the company is going to be ethical and follow federal law. As of right now, the sequestration has not been averted 60 days before election day. The company has a duty to issue the notices.

Our open enrollment period ends Nov. 2. My wife, who sadly voted for Obama earlier in the week, came to realize that the new $2500 annual limit on flexible spending account contributions that was created under Obamacare is going to cost us several thousand dollars in dental bills.

I usually stuff $1500 into my Flex Spend Account each year. All of it gets used. This year there will be a Health Savings Account that rolls over and can "go with you". The FSA is limited to $2500...still more than I even put in. I'm expecting to new deductibles to make the out of pocket so bad that I'll have to fully pay for all the services I use AND pay exorbitant premiums for services that I'll never be able to access due to the deductibles.
