Forget the marble pillars, this time there will be a giant 16-foot sculpture of Obama made out of 15.5 tons of sand at the Democratic National Convention. Building a giant sand sculpture of a living leader might be considered a bit tacky with its worshipful implications, but building one during a hurricane in South Carolina is in particularly bad taste.
But if nothing else, at least Obama has found one Shovel Ready Project. And this isnt even the creepiest giant Obama sand sculpture ever made. The winner of that particular competition is still Sudarsan Pattnaik with this nightmare made out of sand.

The style reminds me of the official Martin Luther King statue on the Mall. The commission was given to a Chinese sculptor who spent his professional life designing hundreds of statues of Mao Tse Tung, for distribution all over China. He even admitted in an interview that he made MLK "look more Chinese", and never show the least bit of humor, or humanity, in his expression.
I think this is a trial run for a statue on Mt Rushmore.
And I'll lay odds we'll be required to bow down to them under threat of being thrown into a fiery furnace, ala the Book of Daniel.
Charlotte so many cities are ruled by the left and many of these cities are now seeing their city go to crap.
I remember some black guys I worked with who used ot complain aout all thes yuppies moving into their areas, thus driving up prices, thus forcing blacks out of their homes.
The left preaches diversity but they sure as hell do not live it.
They think Having a Mexican meal on a Friday and a Chinese meal on a Saturday is diversity to them and thinks that makes them culutural
the MLK statue is awful, how that could have been approved is stunning.
From the Greek columns to the Nobel Prize to this..it is looking like a cross between the Soviet Union and Amin’s Uganda around here..
Since realism and satire are becoming more and more difficult to distinguish these days, PLEASE, if it is satire, just give us a “wink wink”.
Thanks!!!! =)
I hate to look stupid when something is real and I take it for satire and vice-versa. I'm still recovering from my 3 primary beat downs!
American(?) “Idle” sitting on his butt.
The MLK sculpture also has really enormous lips (much thicker proportionately than those of the real MLK). I guess that was his nod to the fact that MLK was not Chinese.
Excellent find...I’ve never seen that apropos image before. THX.
“Creepy” doesn’t even begin to do this justice.
My wife just said, “It looks like Lurch,” from the Addams Family. LOL.
American(?) “Idle.”
LOL
Bows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at Barack that way
But now he only blocks the sun
He rains and snows on everyone
So many things I could have done
But Barack got in my way
This is one of the funniest things ever! It’s even better than the Greek columns. I bet they’re going to have it all lit up with spotlights at night. LOL! LOL!
Look, it was very clear in 2008 that there were parallels between some of Obama's techniques, and some of Hitler's techniques in the early 1930s. Of course, we do not know that the parallels were intentional. But whether intentional, or coincidental, they reflect a myopic vision of a demagogue's own importance. The chanting in unison in stadiums--as opposed to merely cheering in ordinary meeting halls for major speeches--is but one example.
Obama's present campaign, singling out the !%'ers, as scape-goats in a bad economy, may be only a coincidental number; but Hitler's selection of the Jews for the same purpose in 1930's Germany, was significant. (The German Jews were not only a very successful segment of the population, they were also about 1% of the population.) Merely a coincidence, or formula demogoguery?
This man does not intend to lose, whether the public is waking up or not.
A Stalinist cult of personality, combined with Nazi crowd manipulation formulas? Is this acceptable behavior for a man running for President of the Federal Republic once led by George Washington--a wealthy & successful man, whom we remember--image wise--as kneeling in humble Prayer at Valley Forge?

As much as it will hurt, I'll take the fiery furnace. It will be but only a few minutes. My everlasting life is worth MUCH more than a little pain in this puny little time here on earth.
