Vows to block eatery over anti-gay attitude... Mayor Thomas M. Menino is vowing to block Chick-fil-A from bringing its Southern-fried fast-food empire to Boston — possibly to a popular tourist spot just steps from the Freedom Trail — after the family-owned firm’s president suggested gay marriage is “inviting God’s judgment on our nation.”
“Chick-fil-A doesn’t belong in Boston. You can’t have a business in the city of Boston that discriminates against a population. We’re an open city, we’re a city that’s at the forefront of inclusion,” Menino told the Herald yesterday.
“That’s the Freedom Trail. That’s where it all started right here. And we’re not going to have a company, Chick-fil-A or whatever the hell the name is, on our Freedom Trail.”

Is Chick Fil A any good?
Just about the best of fast-food franchises. Chick-Fil-A can live without Boston - they have done so for over thirty years.
It’s great! The french fries are the BEST I’ve ever had!
The mayor is a little loopy. But that’s part of his charm. Hah!

Chick Filet offers pretty good food. I am glad somebody somewhere with at least a touch of clout is speaking for Biblical values. Look, Christians reject the sin, not the sinner.
It’s very good. Some of the best fast food you can get, if you like chicken sandwiches or chicken nuggets. Far better than anybody else’s chicken sandwiches. Their restaurants—every single one that I’ve ever been in—are far cleaner than the average fast-food place, with staff that are motivated and eager to please instead of the average Mickey D’s illegal alien, gang-banger, or urban slacker. And they are still closed on Sunday, every single restaurant. You run a CFA, you’re closed on Sunday, period.
It’s Boston’s loss. That just means more down here in the South for us.

I would really LOVE to take this mayor’s idea to the logical conclusion.

When Barney Frank was a state rep in MA, he used to introduce a bill every year to repeal the sodomy laws.

It’s not that they love sodomy or homos in general.
They hate Christians, and homos are a convenient club with which to beat them.
The goal is to criminalize Christianity. Homos are just a means to that end.

Um, does anyone see the hypocricy there? He himself is discriminating against a population that affirms traditional marriage.
