To hell with the GOP-e. Barring a miracle, they got their big government, unconstitutional mandate loving, socialist abortionist Obama-lite RINO on the ballot, they can now get him elected.
We are the resistance!!
Shove him down our throats today, we shove him up your donkeys in November!!
I can see November from my house!!

Personally, I’m going to back whomever the GOP nominates and it looks to be Romney now! Not going to cut off my nose to spite my face! Period!
DITTO BUMP
We all need to get a grip and remember that......

Jimbo,
Once Obamacare is ruled unconstitutional (which it WILL be) Romney will not be able to institute a national healthcare scheme. Nobody will be able to because the court will have said that such matters must be left to the States.

Woof. Some folks really need to go back and read their Constitution - and then understand what it means.

I'm totally with you in spirit, bro. Not sure WTF to do though. On one hand, we have OBama, who will certainly declare a dictatorship within months of a re-election.
On the other hand, we have Mitt Romney, who is a very liberal democrat. But he's not likely to declare a dictatorship.
So I've got a choice between being killed by a .44 magnum round to the forehead (Obama) or being killed by slow cancer (Mitt Romney).
I guess I might elect for the slower option just to give me time to get my affairs in order, right? I dunno WTf to do.

“HOWEVER we can’t ignore the likelihood that the next president of the US will appoint anywheres from ONE to THREE Justices of the Supreme Court.”
If you think Romney will pick a ‘conservative’ for SCOTUS, you’ve got another ‘think’ coming.

“Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans, has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters (75%) of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced, instead tapping registered Democrats or independents including two gay lawyers who have supported expanded same-sex rights.”

I disagree. If BHO is elected the conservate movement will not be responsible for all you mention. If GOP-e is elected conservatives will shoulder the blame when the same things happen.
When Romney appoints waffling, moderate at best, SCOTUS The Republic will be no better off.
No more RINO!

A 50-0 total blowout repudiation of Romney wouldn’t change things?
Hey if the GOP thinks it can win without us, they should go right ahead. Seems they don’t want conservative support anyways.
If we all vote for the constitution party then we get a chance to speak our mind. Since the GOP isn’t giving me a chance to vote for a candidate that I can support then I’m going to use my only chance to speak out by voting a party that does speak for me.
And that’s not the Romney lead GOP.
Why are we listening to them anyways? Let’s all collaborate and vote for the Constitution party.

I for one will not fall into this RAT-trap, because, not voting for Obutt’s only opponent assures Obutt will be re-elected to finish the destruction of the country. Newt was my first choice, but he was destroyed by the demrat media, just as others were. Keep in mind, the RAT-controlled media will continue to paint romney as a rino (don’t misread me, romney was my last choice) so that Obamugabe can win again. BO’s dream is for the US to become another 3rd world craphole like every other nation and city ruled by africans. Do we really want that to happen?

The writing was always on the wall at each turn in this primary race. The establishment wins again, as they seem to all the time. We never had much for choices in hindsight either. Conservatives have control in localized places, but never at the top of the ticket or in nationally focused races. It is the media, it is lack of leadership, and lack of voice we are given. This includes Fox which is slightly to the right of CNN and the major news networks yet very far away from conservatives. The war for the soul of the party doesn’t seem to spurn triumph from the hands of pixels as one would hope, and that is unfortunate. They have systematically weakened the great tea party movement and effectively neutered it, and in the process took another step in our destruction.
I believe we undervalue the power of the MSM, and it’s ability to dictate our leaders, and destroy those that believe in the values we all hold so dear here. We overlook their influence and power at our peril. They still hold all the power.

Watch out, Jim. You are beginning to sound like the no-vote cowards like me that "true FREEPERs" are dressing down in the Santorum threads... I, for one, stand with you. I'm very definitely not a "no-vote coward". I will be voting in November, just not for Romney or Obama, and I hope that those who despise Romney and resent the establishment insiders who rammed Romney down our throats (disgusting as that image is, at least it wasn't his neighbor, Barney Frank!) will also vote. We have to vote in the down-ticket elections to get as conservative as possible a Congress to restrain whichever big government liberal we get stuck with.

Eff the GOP-e. Theres no way in hell that I will vote for their abortionist, homo rights pushing, gun-grabbing, big government mandate loving socialist healthcare pushing constitution trampler. Theyve gone a RINO too far.
Most of us non-politician citizens that are interested in politics (more and more these days, of course) don't think about elections and governance from a politician's point of view. Understandable because we're not politicians.
A few thoughts, for what they're worth...
a) There is the impending pop of a worldwide government spending and government debt bubble. Since the U.S. government is so large and our economy is so large, it can't be turned on a dime. So deflating the bubble in a controlled fashion would be challenging, if a President AND Congress actually decided on that course of action. Romney is not a "bubble-popper", but would merely attempt to slow down it's expansion. He apparently will do nothing, however, to undo decades of immoral legislation that rigs everything against the individual, i.e., laws that encourage immoral actions against families and the individual while they create enormous legal risks, burdens and barriers to entry for private business enterprises.
b) If the next President is a Republican, the communist/islamofascist elements inside America will make a full-court press to initiate civil unrest in America. Since the radical far left is currently in the White House, violent confrontations between Federal law enforcement and anarchists are counterproductive to the far left's agenda; they make Obama look bad. So demonstrations are allowed to be "ratcheted up" but with the understanding that there will not anything really terrible happening while the far left enjoys the power of the Presidency. If a Republican is in the White House, civil unrest can be deceitfully painted by the left as being justified, i.e., struggling to overthrow "the man", or wall street, "white slaveholders", or whatever other boogie man they select.
c) The C/I elements are allied with the "modernist/atheist" intelligentsia (which includes many wealthy and politically powerful people as well as leaders of the media and education, of course); both of these factions think they are the true leaders of society, i.e., they believe they are uniquely qualified to "run" society and they are very self-important and feel that they do, in essence, "run" society.
d) If the debt bubble breaks under the next President and they are a Republican, all the world's problems would be blamed on Republicans by the media so much so that it would make the media of today seem unbiased. The left, from their positions in education, the press and government would make all the use they can out of economic misery. The far left violent groups would go all out to incite violence, which would be rationalized by the intelligentsia and publicized and championed by the liberal press.
e) To the contrary, if Obama is reelected, continued government debt bubble expansion would hasten the debt bubble burst, and forever brand liberal theories with epic failure.
f) Large publicly-held financial organizations, state and local governments, unions and pension funds would be hit tremendously hard by the bursting of the debt bubble. Unemployment could very well reach a grand scale. People have to eat; individual citizens, therefore, would simply weather the storm, same as in Depression I, by extreme belt-tightening. Moving in together to save on housing, spending little to nothing on clothing, cars, travel or anything but the barest of necessities. Once one's investments are all gone, investment losses cease. Depression II will mostly hurt those who have significant wealth, for there the only truly safe investments would be in those necessity industries. Out of it all, people would be faced, inevitably, with going back to believing in the reality of simple business arithmetic instead of the hacky political and social theories of the over-educated. Given the high state of technology today, and the large number of entrepreneurial leaders in America, there is no need for a complete rebuilding process to be very long or painful, and it would provide a solid mandate for lopping off much of the lethargic and parasitic government machinery. Most importantly, more folks might come to realize that a spiritual revival is a prerequisite for any lasting social, economic and national security revival.
