There’s still a nasty, bitter 1970s vintage radical feminist lurking inside our secretary of state. In that office, Hillary Clinton is supposed to represent all of the people of the United States. Instead, she makes a grotesque link between real and brave freedom activists who risk all fighting for basic human rights outside the US, and Sandra Flukes demanding subsidized sex lives inside the US.
Clinton said women in the Middle East — even in the United States — must fight for their rights:
“Now, we know that young woman in Tunisia and her peers across the region already are facing extremists who will try to strip their rights, curb their participation, limit their ability to make choices for themselves. Why extremists always focus on women remains a mystery to me. But they all seem to. It doesnt matter what country theyre in or what religion they claim. They want to control women. They want to control how we dress, they want to control how we act, they even want to control the decisions we make about our own health and bodies.”
Clinton’s apparent reference to the “reproductive rights” controversy involving a Georgetown University law student was met with applause.
“Yes, it is hard to believe that even here at home, we have to stand up for womens rights and reject efforts to marginalize any one of us, because America needs to set an example for the entire world,” Clinton said. “And it seems clear to me that to do that, we have to live our own values and we have to defend our own values. We need to respect each other, empower all our citizens, and find common ground.”
Common ground on her terms, of course. That “common ground” means that you pay for whatever she and her leftist friends want you to pay for, whether you find it morally unconscionable or not. That is Hillary Clinton’s definition of “common ground.” And so is this — Hillary’s regime buried a mandate forcing Americans to pay surcharges for elective abortions, in ObamaCare. Mandates within mandates, all in violation of our rights, passed via bribes along purely partisan lines against the wishes of the majority of Americans. Some “common ground.” It’s really just a milder form of tyranny.
Yet reading words on the page doesn’t quite deliver the venom that Clinton intended to deliver. Watch the video of her remarks. Link Here
Wormtongue has nothing on Hillary Clinton. You can see in the video that Clinton knows exactly what she is saying, and she relishes saying it. She relishes calling anyone who opposes her regime’s mandates “extremists” and linking us with the worst and most brutal figures in the world.
This is vile, especially coming from a US secretary of state. It insults Americans for the sake of petty politics. It degrades the office that she holds.
Hillary Clinton has lately convinced many even on the right that she would have been a better president than Barack Obama. Personally I’ve never bought into that idea. She is no less of an ideologue than Obama. She is no less of an Alinskyite, she just isn’t as good at the game as Obama is. Her only claim to fame is that she married well, in the sense that she married a man who achieved the highest office in the world. Apart from that, she wasn’t a good Senate candidate and she turned out to be a weak candidate for the presidency. She has been a lousy ambassador for the nation, by turns incompetent and lacking in any sense of America’s history. Like her president, when she could choose to unite Americans, she chooses to divide us.
For what it’s worth, though, Hillary’s isn’t the language of someone who is confident in her position. It’s the language of someone who knows she is defending a losing position, and is willing to grab any weapon at hand to defend it.
As always with leftists,
the issue is not the issue.
We become fools when we answer these fools in their folly,
when we accept the premise that they’re serious about the issue they’re arguing.
Just state it flatly - this is a trumped up fake issue being used to further the power ambitions of leftists/democrats.
Hillary was well-trained in her United Methodist Youth Fellowship.

Birth control can be bought at every drug store in American. There isn’t ONE city that doesn’t sell condoms. There isn’t ONE pharmacy that doesn’t carry birth control pills.
This ‘issue’ is a lie.
The press and trolls are playing it up because it WORKS FOR DEMS.
Wasn't Hillary the one in charge of 'bimbo' eruptions? A way to get powerless women to 'shut the F up? Yeah, I'm totally charmed with liberal 'feminism' -it rings soooooo true. /s
This seems upside down. You don’t control someone by refusing to pay for their wants or needs. Quite the opposite. When you DO pay for wants and needs is when you control them. What they pay for themselves GIVES THEM CONTROL. It is the women who want to surrender control by letting someone else control the financing of their lives.
Article does not say where or when Hilary said this stuff. 1964 maybe? Sounds exactly like what was being pounded into every college student in the sixties.
Let’s substitute one word, and maybe we can figure out what our military has been put to task to fight for, really. in the islamic world.
Now, we know that young woman in Tunisia and her peers across the region already are facing men who will try to strip their rights, curb their participation, limit their ability to make choices for themselves. Why men always focus on women remains a mystery to me. But they all seem to. It doesnt matter what country theyre in or what religion they claim. Men want to control women. Men want to control how women dress, men want to control how women act, men even want to control the decisions women make about our own health and bodies.
Bill supports sleazy coeds on a retail scale.
Hillary does the same thing wholesale.
Co-eds should screw on their own dime. End of story.
Uh.....Hillary......Rush won, you and the Effeminate One lost.......pay a little bit more contention now, Blind Baby !!
Uh YAW!!
It is upside down, because liberals live in the realm of “alternative truth”.
They seriously have the belief that if someone can’t afford to exercise a “right” then that “right” is being denied them,
and it is the obligation of everyone else to make that “right” affordable.
And you're right, it's the same old crap. Shrillery is lost in a time warp, she's never grown up. Come to think of it, that's the problem with all old libs.
LOL
I am no fan of Hillary Clinton but I cannot agree with this.
She understood the dangers of the Taliban and their horrific treatment of women in Afghanistan years ago in the interim between the collapse of the Soviet Union and the 9/11 attack on America, back when most Americans had forgotten about the existence of Afghanistan. She's a radical feminist, but when it comes to Islamofascist hatred of women, she was objecting to things in the 1990s that most Americans didn't even know were going on.
Just as with RINO Republicans, some Democrats are pure political opportunists who will sell out their supposed convictions to keep power. Others are ideologues who are motivated by core convictions. For Hillary Clinton, women's rights are a core issue. Considering the way she has been treated by her husband, it's hard for me to disagree with her apparent view that men are basically interested in power, sex, and using women to achieve their goals rather than loving and respecting their wives.
Far too often, ideology is explainable at least in part by biography or personal background.
Honestly, when the was the last time you heard Hillary condemning Muslims treatment of women?
(crickets)
If Hillary cared about women, she would have set an example by ditching her pholandering woman abusing husband.
Her lust for power overshadowed all of that. She stayed with, and defended a serial adulterr and abuser of women.
And blamed innocent people, the “right wing” for it.
So she can sit down and shut up.
Shrillary belongs in Federal prison with her traitor husband, instead of being given a world wide stage to exhibit her duplicity.
