I beg all of us here on Free Republic to STOP the dogpiling on Sandra Fluke.
No joke.
Don't follow Rush's bad example.
Name-calling will get us NOWHERE.
Remember the much better example of the woman at the well, and how Jesus dealt with her. That's a MUCH better way to behave.
LOL! Much better. :)
“one who is trying to take down His Holy Church and publicly speaking about her promiscuity. Her actions are not merely political, she is trying to force the Catholic Church to submit.”
Eureka!
OK, I got confused there - I was recalling a post by kingu on another thread about mandatory health insurance there:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2852287/posts?page=63#63
On an article about Fluke’s numbers being “a tad” off at $1000 per year :)
I think linking ‘the pill’ with being a slut is not in order in the MSM - Rush is in the main stream media-ish....too many are on the pill and don’t think it’s a big deal (even Catholics) Yes, I understand the Catholic college stance...but the left-wing-dings $Grand$ number would have been better applied to what a pile of condoms are worth.
Too many people will not connect that his joke is spot on (I don’t) and I know what he’s doing - it’s just not ringing right to me.
Her math doesn’t work - that’s the joke.
2+2=5
I am surprised we haven’t heard comment from the school. Or did I miss one ?
We must ask then, What would BJ Clinton do?
Yes, it is idiocy for our side to call a single adult woman a slut for using birth control—and thus, gasp, engaging in sex!
We can disagree on whether insurers should be required to cover birth control as part of their health insurance, but the name-calling is pathetic. (And yes, that goes for Rush too.)
Here’s the thing. Imho, this woman is very possibly a lesbian. Imho, she intentionally made her points so ridiculously outrageous because she wanted to provoke the very responses that she has achieved. This was completely scripted, I believe.
Are they really? The entire MSM community is discussing this as we type..........Nothing like shining the light of truth on the hypocrisy of the left and Rush does that very well while absorbing the brunt of all expected counter attacks.
Don't forget, this all began with a seemingly stupid and irrelevant question about contraception posed to Mitt Romney by one time Democrap white house communications director, George "Steffie" Stephanopoulos when he moderated the January 7 Republican debate.
At the time, everyone was scratching their heads saying "WTF is up with that"? But it was Dick Morris and Rush who recognized the "time bomb" being planted by that little jackass.......
And now Rush is bringing total focus on the issue via the only way that is truly effective.........
You may say "counter productive" but advertising says that even negative press is positive press..........
GU’s student health plan. All drugs authorized by the FDA are covered. OBGYN care is, too.

I have no pity for this woman. She needs to close her legs and study more.
I dono....$50 X 12 = $600
Tuition @ Georgetown is $70,000...
What’s wrong with this picture? Simple, Fluke is full of BS and is a plant.
Georgetown supports her.
Remember, they covered up the cross when Obama spoke there.
This is really sad. Not just your response quoted above, but the large number of replies lauding your post. Sad, because Jesus did not tell the woman to go and sin no more. That quote is lifted from a different story concerning a different woman.
My comment only had to do with your comment regarding her insurance plan, nothing else.
As to her numbers, I have no clue, it’s been 25 years since I used the pill, but even then it was $30-35 a month. And I knew of no insurance policy that covered it.
John 4;3-30 with John 8:3-11 (KJV)
3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4 they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: Lev. 20.10 · Deut. 22.22-24 but what sayest thou?
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more./

Jesus would not have handed out free condoms. He also would not ask for others to pay for someone elses sexual activity. The word slut is in the dictionary, I suggest Ms. Fluke read it.
She wants free BC, maybe someone here wants to pay for it, I don’t...she is playing a thief, stealing from others to carry on her fornications....It is a joke and because of all the crap that the government makes insurance companys cover, blame them for high premiums....Everyone even has to pay for some old coots viagra...such things should be paid for by the user, not his next door neighbor in higher premiums....
A) Did the women at the well demand Jesus to subsidize her fornication?
B) Did the woman at well have intentions of undermining Jesus? (Fluke is using her activism to hound the Church and has no desire of repenting, in fact, she is in “reprobate” territory)
C) Did the woman at the well attack Jesus like Fluke is attacking the Church?
D) Has Fluke shown the humility like the woman at the well in the face of Truth?
Fluke goes to a Catholic institution, it's not like she is ignorant of the tenants of the Law and the Gospels. Had this been a women not seeking to attack the Church your point might stand, but Fluke knows what she is doing and is a tool in the process of striping religious freedom away. The ridicule is well earned and righteous when looking at Flukes true intention.
