A team of salvage divers has discovered an unexplained object resting at the bottom of the Baltic Sea near Sweden.
"This thing turned up. My first reaction was to tell the guys that we have a UFO here on the bottom," said Peter Lindberg, the leader of the amateur treasure hunters.
Sonar readings show that the mysterious object is about 60 meters across, or, about the size of a jumbo jet. And it's not alone. Nearby on the sea floor is another, smaller object with a similar shape. Even more fascinating, both objects have "drag marks" behind them on the sea floor, stretching back more than 400 feet.
"Could this be the Star Wars Millenium Falcon, a plug to an inner world or a marine version of Stonehenge?" asks CNN's Brooke Bowman:

[History Channel is] convinced that Aliens have visited us and are responsible for everything they cannot otherwise explain. they can make substantial ad revenues peddling inane extraterrestial theories.

Interesting. I understand this circular object is about sixty meters in diameter?

But it is entertaining at times watching those guys come up with their circuitious logic to explain why ancient aliens are responsible for everything......

Clive Cussler is a great author. I’m not sure of his political beliefs but he has cool cars.

"If there is any suspiscion that it is an alien craft, the History Channel will do a special on it. They are convinced that Aliens have visited us and are responsible for everything they cannot otherwise explain." The History Channel was soundly taken to task in South Park's Thanksgiving episode this past November. IMHO, one of the funniest episodes, ever.

You can bet that EVERY single wacked-out conspiracy theory, doom and gloom story about the environment, or 'Henny Penny-the sky is falling!!!!' BS about the deterioration of US infrastructure, etc. will be instantaneously reiterated by “O” in his next speech... almost verbatim.
They are morons to air that kind of BS and HE is a horse's a$# M O R O N to actually think no one would notice the connection!!!

This is either one hell of a hoax or George Lucas stole his idea for the Millennium Falcon from aliens. I mean, c'mon, it even has the pilot's cabin located in a pod on the same side of the craft.

Yes, I actually do remember when the History Channel featured History. It was mostly tolerable, on occasion even brilliant. I think they still mostly have such programming on History International.
But that's "Television," always sinking down to the lowest common denominator, in the business of selling an audience to its advertisers. It's an inefficient deliverer of that product and a flawed media, on its eventual way out.
I guess we can all remember when MTV was about Music, too. Now it's "about" trashy, frighteningly ignorant arrested adolescents stupid enough to think they discovered sex.

My reaction to any program with the word “alien” in the title < click>.
Their series, “The Universe” also ticks me off, they sensationalize everything, give undo emphasis to the obscure and dubious, when the real Universe is fascinating enough on its own.

60 meters across.
I wondered what happened to the rest of Al Roker.

CNNs Brooke Bowman, Could it be THE THING? Great logic: I don't know therefore its aliens!
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Not the reverse.
