Carney Asked if ‘Saul Alinsky Portrait’ Is Hanging in the White House
The Blaze ^ | 01-23-12 | Tiffany Gabbay

During a White House press briefing on Monday, Fox News’ Ed Henry asked Press Secretary Jay Carney if the White House displays a portrait of Saul Alinsky for its staff to look up to. Carney’s answer was less than direct, and would seem to hint that there just might be something to the Alinsky portrait rumors.

“I wonder if you could clear something up,” Henry began.

“Newt Gingrich keeps saying on the campaign trail that the President’s vision comes from Saul Alinsky, the community organizer. I haven’t heard you asked about him but… Is there some kind of portrait of him hanging up in the White House that people look up to or is this BS?”

“Look,” Carney said. “The President’s background as a community organizer is well documented in his own books. His experience in that field contributed to who he is today. But his experiences abroad also included alot of other areas in his life. So I’ll just leave it at that.”

If you listen to Medved any length of time you will realize he’s actually works for the other side, whether he realizes it or not. Hugh Hewitt is the same way, although not as obvious.

That’s disgusting. The new occupant of the WH next year is going to have to disinfect the whole joint stem to stern.

wouldn't be the first time.

Reminds me of GWBush giving the Letterman Top 10 things he'll do when he takes office (hinting at what Clinton did): "Give the Oval office one heck of a cleaning."

Well, I remember back during the campaign a bunch of new age folks in California were all awed and calling him a “lightbringer”... Little do they know, eh? Enough to make you go hmmm... ;) [Well, they might be right in some respects - he’s bringing light to the disgusting communist, racist, and criminal underbelly of the Democrat Party... God does work in mysterious ways.]

The name Lucifer, translated, means lightbringer, or son of the morning.

Hmmm...

"ALINSKY: Hell would be heaven for me. All my life I’ve been with the have-nots. Over here, if you’re a have-not, you’re short of dough. If you’re a have-not in hell, you’re short of virtue. Once I get into hell, I’ll start organizing the have-nots over there."

So, he loves organizing the have-nots so much, he'd like to rally the denizens of Hell to demand. . . virtue? What a jerk.

Exactly! Otherwise Carney would have just said “no, of course not!”

Medved is the quintessential Ivy League GOP establishment Republican. Much like Ann Coulter, Peggy Noonan, and Charles Krauthhammer. In 2008 his favorite was Huckabee, but he gladly settled for McCain when the Huckster dropped out, and he never liked Palin, and still blames her for the McCain loss. If someone prefers Romney over Newt, fine, they have their opinion. But when that opinion comes from one of these GOP establishment poster childs, then I raise a deaf ear to them.

Yeah, like being a treasonous SOB in Pakistan and enjoying a Fulbright Scholarship at Occidental College as an Indonesian citizen.

Obama is not nor ever will be a legitimate , qualified president of the USA.

You bet Alinsky hangs on the wall, and also is likely tatooed on Obamas touch hole too.

The one-termer will walk away with anything not welded down anyway....

He’s going to have to out-do BJ Clinton’s thefts.

I met a traveler from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal these words appear:
“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Shelley (1792-1822)

They’re entitled to it because of the legacy of slavery,
and if you complain about it, you’re a racist.

That’s disgusting. The new occupant of the WH next year is going to have to disinfect the whole joint stem to stern.

Add a few purification rituals and an exorcism or two and that would be a start.

Shazaaaam!

Returning the bust of Churchill was an odd first act. Unless you know the context.

Here it is in Churchill's own words...

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.

The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.

No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.

-- Sir Winston Churchill (The River War, first edition, Vol. II, pages 248-50 [London: Longmans, Green & Co., 1899]).
