The new acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives announced a major shake-up of his agency Wednesday and urged Washington insiders to “calm down” about the latest revelations surrounding a controversial ATF gun operation.
B. Todd Jones said calm is needed as he begins rebuilding the beleaguered agency, including shuffling top personnel. He made his comments as his boss, Attorney General Eric J. Holder Jr., came under fire this week from Republican lawmakers, with one calling for a special counsel to investigate Holder’s role in the Fast and Furious gun-trafficking operation.

Don't know if you noticed it, but the memos and emails that came out yesterday were released by DEMOCRAT members of the committee.. That says a lot...
My take, FWIW, is that a lot of people at TATFE, FBI, and DoJ are worried, and should be. As it becomes more obvious that Obama won't win next year, I expect one or more will come forward, to cut a deal for themselves... Holder's a goner...the real question is what and when did Obama know?

Like the old joke says, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms sounds more like the name of a convenience store than a function of the federal government.

Gee, I wonder if they would have headlined it when Nixon asked for everyone to 'calm down' about Watergate?

Just guessing, but could this be some of that “under the radar” low key stuff that our Irish prez was talking about? Seem to remember something about o’bama telling the brady bunch to be patient or something along that line.
