AMANDA KNOX ACQUITTED, TO BE RELEASED IMMEDIATELY
I see client number 9 in her future.
There is a resemblance.
A guy she implicated in the murder.
I don’t know if she did it or not, but I am happy for her parents. I hope they have a better influence over her from now on.
Well, she has been on a hunger strike for 32 years.............
While not commenting specifically on the merits of this case, I do find it disturbing that people like Knox are accused of murder or other heinous crimes and people seem to eventually feel sorry for them and cheer their acquittal. It’s like people forget about the underlying crime and root for the new celebrity on the block. If it’s a hot chick, well then all the more reason to find excuses to believe her story no matter how absurd it is.
She's gotta be amazed.
Just proof that money talks. Her family is loaded.
You just sort of made that all up.
I'm impressed.
Got any Ponzi schemes going you need investors for?
Thanks. I can breathe easer now. ;->
I see the Casey Anthony jury is now working in Italy.
This woman was railroaded and the slimy Prosecutor said he is going to charge her again because there is no double jeopardy there. If I was her, I would get out of Italy as fast as possible.
she’ll probably be a lib college professor
Bad news for the “guilty until proven innocent” crowd here on FR.
The slander was she said she witnessed her boss who owned the bar at which she worked killing the girl believing the police would let her go if she agreed to their suggestion that he might have done it.She knew that her boss did not even know the girl and later admitted she was not even in the house when she was killed. She may be innocent of the murder but she is a dirtbag in her willingness to knowingly send an innocent man to prison.
I was never convinced of her guilt—not that she couldn’t have done it, but I never saw any sign of motive, and the evidence was fairly flimsy. Everybody seems to think she’s a great beauty ... I don’t quite concur, but her looks are very intriguing, for want of a better word.
I guess you know a lot more about this case than the two judges and jurors who could not believe the DNA evidence. And more about her personal life than most of us. So please tell us!
An Italian appeals court overturns the murder convictions of American Amanda Knox and Italian Raffaele Sollecito, jailed for the killing of UK student Meredith Kercher in 2007 in a high-profile case.
Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito have been acquitted of the murder of UK student Meredith Kercher following a successful appeal in Perugia, Italy,
Miss Knox, 24, and her ex-boyfriend Mr Sollecito, 27, had spent nearly four years in jail since they were convicted of killing of the 21-year-old, from Coulsdon, south London, in 2007.
American Miss Knox sobbed as the judge said the pair would walk free from court.
There were protests outside the court.
Earlier, Miss Knox, who is serving 26 years in jail for the killing, was given a final chance to state her case in a personal statement and she told a packed courtroom she was “paying with her life”.
Tearful, and speaking in fluent Italian, the American said: “I did not kill, I did not rape, I did not steal. I was not there.”
She added: “I want to go back home. I want to go back to my life. I don’t want to be punished. I don’t want my life and my future to be taken away for something I didn’t do because I am innocent.”
Her ex-boyfriend Mr Sollecito, who was given a 25-year term, told the court in his statement that he was in a “nightmare” and said the claims against him were “totally untrue”.

This is a pleasant surprise. I don’t always have a lot of faith in the rulings of foreign courts and it is encouraging that the judges found in her favor. Hopefully, Ms. Knox and her family can finally move forward and put this nightmare behind them.
The people in that town were cheering Amanda Knox’s release.
I hear they like her now.
I imagine she will make a ton of money of books and interviews eventually.
I feel sad for the Kirchner family. Been a long time for them too.
This reminds me of Act III in Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar", when Brutus' funeral oration is followed by Marc Antony's rabble-rousing barn-burner of a speech. "Brutus is an honorable man... so are they all, honorable men."
