WASHINGTON-- First Lady Michelle Obama is expected Thursday to announce headway in her drive to have restaurants reduce portion sizes, part of her "Let's Move' campaign against obesity.
"The Childhood Obesity Task Force Report"--commissioned as part of Mrs. Obama's "Let's Move" project, "specifically calls on restaurants to, "consider their portion sizes, improve children's menus, and make healthy options the default choice whenever possible." below, from White House....

Thursday, September 15 11:45 AM - First Lady Michelle Obama will make a major Let's Move! announcement related to providing healthier choices and greater variety for families in restaurants - a critical piece of ending the epidemic of childhood obesity in a generation. One of every two dollars spent on food is spent in restaurants, and over one-third of calories consumed in America are eaten at restaurants. The Childhood Obesity Task Force Report specifically calls on restaurants to, "consider their portion sizes, improve children's menus, and make healthy options the default choice whenever possible." This event will be held in Hyattsville, MD and space is limited.
Howz' 'bout Mooch-elle reducing the portion size of her thick ankles, fat rear end, and very chubby thighs. That would be portion control.

My experience is restaurants are already reducing portion sizes in an effort to minimize price increases resulting from the high single digit food price inflation the country is experiencing.
What about the government inflation statistics? They no longer include food and energy prices making the index weighted more to housing prices (still declining).

Every once in awhile I get chinese takeout from Nan-King. For ten bucks, their portions are enormous! All the other chinese in my area charge the same or more but you get like half of what NanKing offers. Cant wait to try the Kung Pao tomorrow.
And Fat Michelle and go off herself! Tired of her meddling in other people’s affairs.
So Michelle wants to ban the buffet. Are seniors aware of this? Michelle is giving the Republicans an opening to start a buffetscare campaign to offset the Democrat mediscare campaign.
