Let's say that you have been released from prison after serving 30 years in solitary confinement. You are starved for for human contact and, especially, female companionship. Rachael Maddow meets you at the prison gates with a bottle of Boone's Farm and a Barry White CD. Whaddya do?

Demand Everclear and Moonshine and a paper bag :D

Perry did mention that Texas education is in a “unique” position with all the immigrants. He could/should have expanded on it, but this is just one debate.

One of the great mysteries is why do lesbians try to look like men? If women turn you on why do you want to look like a man?

Watching MSNBC for just a few secs before and after the debate makes me wonder truly, how does that network stay on the air? They really don’t “get it”.

Time for me to pull the eject lever, or I’ll be FReeping half the night. Haha

Well the psychos on MSNBC are praising Romney. Hopefully, that will give a hint to the mods to have a Romneybot purge...

Rachel Maddow can turn the most stud man gay. I still cannot believe that thing is considered a woman. I think my autographed hockey puck from the Stanley Cup is more manly that Rachel Madcow.

Behold, the face of the Democrapic Party.

Why did the field agree to MSNBC for this anyway?

Loved the balance of your analysis, but that particular question needs serious attention, in my view. There's no doubt that the group as a whole made a strategic error by agreeing to allow the debate to be hosted by MSNBC, who are arguably the most dedicated left-wing news channel in America.

Newt spoke for all (I hope) when he blasted Brian Williams et al for attempting to make the Republican candidates destroy each other, when the proper focus is on defeating Obama. I very much appreciate that he clearly defined who was debating on that stage, and that he drew a sharp distinction between them, and Obama.

That said, it's simply unconscionable that our people have (once again) allowed themselves to be corralled and manipulated by the enemy like that. It's time for candidates to be as outspoken as Palin is about the truth of the US media, and to demand something approaching a neutral forum to hold their debates.

They need to pull together for the greater good on this one key ground rule: no more debates controlled by major media outlets. Period.

I don’t want to like Newt. But when I watch him I see someone who is very bright and in command of facts, history and the media. He does not get off track and handles them very well. I have a new theory about Newt. Maybe he was just goofing around before, but now he truly sees that the country is on the line. Given his bent for seeing things in clear historical perspective, he may actually be stepping up. I just don’t want to like him, but I see what I see and he seems like he could beat Obama, at least as judged by the performance in this debate.

I was slaying dragons on MSNBC site during this debate. Really fun knocking them down but quite interesting many were checking out the candidates because they will not vote for Obama again.

Yes, I noticed your post about that. Good on you!

Very interesting observation about Obama voters checking out the Republican candidates. Someone in Obama's camp also noticed those comments tonight and drank a half bottle of scotch to try to forget about it.

We're 14 months out from election day, and it's already pretty clear that Obama is finished. He will NOT do what's really required to turn this economy around, so he's written his own epitaph. Very fitting, I'd say.
