I hope it wasn’t any parts she needed...................
Even further left than it’s already titling...
Report just in: Three people injured when they got between Pat Robertson and a TV camera.
Al Gore says this is due to global warming.
Obama says this is Bush’s fault.
He SURE does!! AND there is no arguing with me...THAT’S what I believe! :)
says some parts fell off
[sorry about that]
Felt in Annapolis, library building vibrated for about 30 seconds, then vibrated all the way up the walls and jolted the ceiling
Lots of folks standing outside going “WTF”
Can’t reach spouse in DC, cell phone down or slammed
Hey! (It’s been a while, hope you are well...)
My friend mentioned a couple happening in Colorado earlier today, too. I didn’t feel ANY in the close to 10 years I lived there. I don’t recall hearing of any either... Do you happen to know where in CO they occurred? I mean you’ve got the Continental Divide there, obviously, but other than that I’m not aware of fault lines there (haven’t looked into it either, though).
We felt it clearly down here in North Carolina (Research Triangle Park, about 8 miles east of Durham). I didn’t know it was an earthquake, I’m on the second floor of an office building and it just felt like the floor here normally does if someone’s walking by or a cart is rolling by my cubicle...except nobody was around and it didn’t stop for 30 seconds. I was about to get up and see what somebody was doing in the breakroom across the wall from me to cause it. Nothing fell, nothing broke, no drama. My wife said she heard some rumbling and felt shaking at home in Durham proper, and there was enough vibration to rattle some glassware, but that was it.

HEHEHE
FELT IT IN HAZLETON PA!
Congratulations, East Coast: You've finally been through an earthquake that is worth even bothering to mention to someone on the West Coast.
Hope everyone and their property are OK.
Or are we all just gonna wing it until it morphs into one?!?
I felt it up here in North Central CT. I just got done mowing the lawn. I was sitting in a chair, cooling off in shade of my garage. I felt a weird sense of vertigo and saw my daughters old Wonder Horse on springs moving side to side. I thought this is an earthquake. My adult beverage did not spill though.
I was so scared :)

While that is true Ken, the release in one section on a fault line, does what to other areas that didn’t break free?
I would suggest people in that region brush up on Emergency Preparedness related to earthquakes.
This may be the last temblor for decades, but it never hurts to know what to do in case another one does hit, and it could dramatically reduce the impact on your family if one does take place.
LOL, Every time he goes on vacation all kinds of news happens.
We should have known.
New Madrid, as generally defined, lies a bit further west.
Amusement?
Well, sort of could understand that...but keep in mind the buildings out east are not built for earthquakes. Nor the roads, bridges, tunnels, subways, etc.
A modest ‘quake could cause significant damage.
