major tornado hit south side,,hospital damage..home destroyed
the weather channel live coming up
Praying for your family members.
Another tornado on the ground now south of Joplin. Close to Southwest City and Noel.
Also a note to please stay home, emergency personnel having trouble getting around.
Multiple fatalities
We will pray for them. We went through this here in Alabama a couple of weeks ago. It will take a year or more to get any where close to back where the area was. Many homes destroyed. Thousands and thousands of trees down. They have talked about some type of program to harvest all those downed trees and replanting. Many homes totally gone and people have no insurance.

a radio link allows the Joplin one was an f5
can’t say that yet...it depends on how strong the structures were that got demolished...
several houses in the tuscaloosa al tornado had their fondations wiped clean but becuase they were made of ceder brick...that tornado was only rated EF4
for that area EF4 vs EF5 probably doesn’t matter.
Her address is 2215 Texas.
They are 2 blocks south of 20th and two blocks west of Range Line.
I think. Still cannot reach them. All lines and cell service is down.
Prayers for your family Rushmore Rocks.
Lots of relatives in Neosho, Mo., too. If you hear of anything there, please let me know.
Since only one major hospital left they’re asking only critically injured go to Freeman. Everyone else go to Memorial Hall (that’s where they have any plays, recitals, etc.)

Prayers for all involved.
One mile wide.
I’ve emailed friends and am trying to get a prayer thread going for all those in Joplin.
38 years ago I lived on Picher street within view of that hospital. my old home is probably in rubble right now.
sorry to say thats not a good location
they are about 1.25 miles due east of the Hospital and areas shown on the weather channel..the hospital is on the SW side of Joplin and reports are most of the south side got nailed
The tornado was moving east from the Hospital and radar later showed a strong couplet with debris ball over Duquesnes
if you cannect the dots that tornado assed over the area you mentioned
When we had the tornadoes here in Alabama a few weeks ago not only was cell phone service disrupted but so were the landlines in many of the areas as well.
