major tornado hit south side,,hospital damage..home destroyed

Massive Damage large destructie tornado many homes and buisiness destroyed on west 20 street. People trapped all over the south side of Joplin. Please send help!!!”

Roger Hill -One of the most harrowing experiences I have had while chasing EVER! We were about 3 blocks ahead of the Joplin tornado trying to get south of out its way as power flashes to our immediate west occured and you could make out the outline of the large multivortex tornado in the rain. People driving like nothing goin on! Insane. Still catching my breath.

Too ages sister had her house destroyed. His dad had a huge tree land agains the front door.

The above link shows the St. John hospital which was hit, windows out. The reporter is walking around, everything is gone, except the hospital which has damage.
There are two major hospitals there right across the street from each other; Freeman and St Johns (the one apparently hit).

Sounds like one is touching down in Friestat at this time.
Radar images indicate horrible weather heading for corridor between Springfield and Branson (Nixa/Ozark area)...take cover; video from Bettes in Joplin is brutal.
