(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.
Is Trump really going to ‘move on’ now? That’s what he said (almost) in a video clip I saw tonight. (Can’t remember station.)
Regardless of the veracity of any birth documents presented by the administration, the possible loss or surrender of US citizenship at a later date would be a possible issue as well, especially with the lack of documentation at that level.
And, regardless of calling us all "Birthers", the issue is about Natural Born Citizenship and Constitutional eligibility, not just about his birth certificate.
He has led a convoluted and principally undocumented life, one which calls to question his qualifications, and which is singularly lacking in documentation.
So, even if the 'document' the White House presented was the genuine original long form certificate, and delivered by a squadron of Angels right in the midst of the Mall in broad daylight in full televised view of all humanity, it still would not mean he is Constitutionally eligible. There are far more questions to be answered and a great number of sealed or unavailable documents to be produced before I would ever be convinced, for what that is worth.
I have no doubt that his performance has transcended the bounds of mere incompetence and moved into the realm of either stellar stupidity or malign intent. That alone is prima facie reason to make sure he is not reelected. Ineligibility would be cause for nullifying many of the instruments of the damage he has done without the tedious process of ferreting out every edict, regulation, rulemaking promulgated under his direction and as a result of legislation he approved, although there is going to be a bunch of that before the disseminated rot can be excised from our Republic.
I’ve scanned documents and converted them to PDF’s and never had bizarre things happen when I tried to C&P from that PDF into a Word document.
Something is funny about that file.
I opened a *.pdf file in Safari. The original document had been a Mail document printed to *.pdf format. The cursor in the opened document was a vertical line with a “v” at each end, sort of like

I opened the BC document *.pdf in Safari. The cursor in the opened document (not doing anything else) was a “+” and would select blocks of the image when clicked and dragged on.
Funny, huh?
So, in order to travel on an Indonesian passport (should such have ever happened), he would have had to become an Indonesian Citizen, forsaking his US Citizenship in the process?
Things are just getting warmed up!
More likely its an artifact of the copy process.

The numbers were not given at the hospitals. Janice Okubo, HDOH Communications Director, responded to a whole bunch of requestors by saying that the “date filed” is the date that the BC’s were numbered at the state HDOH office. Piles coming in or out make absolutely no difference, because whatever date they were numbered is the date that is put as the “date filed”.
And Obama’s was given a number on Aug 8th that was higher than the number the Nordyke girl was given on Aug 11th.
That just doesn’t jive. Piles don’t explain this mess.

I zoomed in 400 and the word on the March 15th is “the”.
Good luck translating indigenes as “natural born citizen” - which is what a lousy translation did 10 years AFTER the Constitution.
Had the Founders wanted to follow Vattel, they could have required the President to be “indigenous”, but that isn’t what they wrote.
And the French equivalent of NBC, as used in other legal documents, was “sujets naturel” - NOT indigenes!
The Founders used a well known and established legal phrase. You don’t get to change it in favor of Vattel, who never ever used the phrase!
Was the local registrar’s name taken from this 1962 “Edith Pauline Coats” birth cert? Since it has been determined that there were registrar’s offices for different regions, why does Obama’s cert have the name of a registrar for a different region?

The March 15 image is a poor one. I am wondering about the text lining up exactly. It it the same stamp? Or is Obama’s a computer created one?
And if they don't match, they could still have cloned a signature from another document, signed by the same individual.

I don’t think it’s a different font. Look, I’ve stamped probably tens of thousands of documents with adjustable date stamps during my career, and you just can’t apply this type of analysis to a stamp mark. They’re just not consistent in the marks that they make. The numbers are usually out of alignment because they are all on different rollers, and often one part of the stamp has more ink on it than another, resulting in different appearances. Also, depending on how much pressure is applied, or whether the stamp is pressed straight down, or slightly askew, or rolled, the numbers can all look different.

It’s really wild and wooly the last several days (weeks, months...) but ramping up considerably. I am neglecting duties and spending too much time on FR (But not enough to read everything I want to read, stiil).
I agree with everything you’ve said. Because Zero is a liar and helped by a huge team of liars, and therefore so many have committed felonies, his entire “life” is a myth with some small droppings of truth to make it look real - as far as I’m concerned, EVERYTHING is on the table to be dissected. Everything. Not one thing isn’t relevant, because nothing can be trusted or taken at face value.
I don’t know if you’ve seen the thread linked below, freaking incredible research. Incredible. I’ve been reading it since it started and there is absolutely new research (or newly put into the public view) that is mind boggling. I know am convinced that not only his is birth place not necessarily what is claimed, but also the date and parentage are not ironclad. Read the thread if you can, at least the last bunch of pages.
And regarding the abstract/COLB/long form (all those terms are used for this “document” the WH has proffered), hoosiermama had this to say, and it makes it really clear what exactly this document purports to be.
When we had the FR cruises I contacted the clerk where I was born to get my BC. She asked which one I wanted. I replied give me one of each. After I got home realized that my mom’s name, dad’s name, date of birth and my own name were all wrong.
So I went to the office with all three in hand thinking I’d have a problem. Clerk proceeded to get the big book out with original in it. I looked at it showed her where the typist had misread the original script writing and the one typo. (Dad was with me to confirm my date of birth. She proceeded to enter the correct information in her computer and reprinted the short form, long form and a credit card size copy on official paper, then stamped and signed it.
What I had in my pocket was just what the typist put into her computer.
What we are looking at is what the clerk chose to put into the computer and print out. It is NOT A PHOTO COPY OF THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENT. It is what BO or his minion choose to make public. It’s been stamped with the “abstract” stamp to indicate that material has been left out. He could print it on toilet paper if stamped and signed it’s a form of a BC....BUT the ABSTRACT stamp indicates that material has been condensed, is not complete.
AGAIN I ask: If he has made this public, by law is the source material that this document was created from available to the public?
