Twitter BReaking news - RIP Elizabeth Taylor.
Several news organizations confirming.
She actually was a wonderful actress. Like Natalie Wood, she was a very natural, unfussy actress and that fools alot of people into thinking there was nothing there. She’s absolutely brilliant in “Virginia Woolf.”
Personally, I will take that kind of movie acting any day over the mannered, self-conscious stuff dished out by Meryl Streep.
Lot of people also think the Holocaust never happened.
As I said earlier in this thread, I have my doubts about those accusations. I don’t think the accusers had much credibility.
Angelina Jolie can’t hold a candle to her. The only one who might be close is Catherine Zeta Jones - barely. Her beauty was unearthly.
That’s a great pic of Liz, Burton and Ava smoking and drinking. Back in the day of real men and women, and you can’t bet they weren’t talking about renewable energy or wringing their hands over the fate of the world.
The lady on the right is her daughter Liza Todd. I think she seems to resemble her father Mike Todd more than her mother.
RIP. There are many roles she did which I enjoyed, but “A Place in the Sun” is up there. Beautifully filmed too.
whatever
you and I clash on occasion anyhow I’ll get over it I do find it funny though how I begged the mods to clean up the lara logan deseved to be sexually assaulted threads to no avail and you get my musing about whether or not anyone will attend wankers funeral in a yanked in a snap
Its always been a subjective joint
I’m on vacation with my brood in south florida so have fun cheers
If the snookie comment was so bad did u report that to while u were at it hoss? Hossette?
Here she is, with Richard Burton, on “Here’s Lucy.”
I just watched Cat on a Hot Tin Roof the other day. She was so talented. She left quite a legacy behind.

Met Elizabeth when John Warner ran for senate in Virginia. Her photographs do not justify her great beauty. Such a glamorous woman and perhaps the end of an era when Hollywood stars were truly glamorous.
RIP Elizabeth
If you haven’t seen this movie, or haven’t read the book by John O’Hara, treat yourself! ‘BUtterfield 8.’

“Her perfume, Passion, is one of my favorites.”
Me, too! :)
WHY THE F*CK IS THE E! CHANNEL SHOWING A KARDASHIAN SHOW MARATHON RIGHT NOW INSTEAD OF FOCUSING THE WHOLE DAY ON THE LIFE AND CAREER OF ELIZABETH TAYLOR, THE GREATEST ACTRESS OF THE 20TH CENTURY??
E! is run by E!-tards.
Caps-lock key stuck? Can I buy you a new keyboard??
Not a fan, but I hope she RIP.
When my mother was young she reminded me of Elizabeth Taylor and mom loved Elizabeth in the movies but she also felt so bad for Debbie Reynolds when Eddie left her for Elizabeth. I am so pleased to see the two remained friends and there was forgiveness. When I heard this morning she had died the flashes of movies I had watched over the years made me remember just what a wonderful actress she was. May God have mercy on her soul.
No, I’m just in a pissed-off mood.
I’m channeling Liz Taylor as Virginia Woolf, perhaps.
Hence the Caps-Lock key usage.
