One of the great tacky reads of all time is Richard Burton’s diaries. We get all the dirt on Liz which is good fun but he was vicious towards Lucille Ball. One of my biographies of Ball states that when she read Burton’s diaries, she went into her last decline and eventually passed away. I believe it!
